There's some serious reading comprehension issues here. IF I'M IN THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM WITH MY 5 YEAR OLD DISABLED DAUGHTER, THERE IS A VALID REASON. IT IS NOT MY FIRST CHOICE, BUT NECESSARY IF IT IS THE CHOICE I MADE. I WOULD HAVE, AND HAVE, TAKEN HER INTO THE MEN'S ROON WHEN POSSIBLE. Hopefully the all caps makes this easier to grasp.

Let's shut the bathroom thing down. For my young daughter, I have no issues with taking her in the men's room. If I'm with her in the women's bathroom with her, there's a reason. Your opinion on it is irrelevant to me. I'm her father, and that trumps your opinion or comfort.

This is a silly take. If he can clear the womens, why can't he wait till the mens is clear? And if its not, what could possibly happen with dad there? You are implying your husband cant protect your daughter from other men when hes right there and that's a problem.

Got sucked into the debate on the dad with his daughter in the women's bathroom. He should have taken her into the men's bathroom, full stop. And for all the people saying they would never want their 3-year-old daughter in a bathroom with men... The stalls have doors, you know. She's not just on display. Fast forward a few years, and your same logic holds with the opposite effect. Imagine that your daughter is now a teenager. Do you want her in the bathroom with a bunch of men, just because they happened to have their young kids with them? By the logic people are using, you have to pick a poison. Except it's not really a poison because the kid is behind closed doors!

No way my girls go into a men’s room with its filth and exposed urinals. My girls agree and continue that process today with their kids.

in my opinion… he’s weird for going into the women’s bathroom as a grown man. Protocol before my girls were old enough to go themselves was to come with me to the men’s. Adults won’t feel awkward about a child of any sex in their bathroom but they prob would for a diff sex adult.
