The damaging of a Christian religious symbol by an IDF soldier in southern Lebanon is grave and disgraceful.
I commend the IDF for its statement,
for condemning the incident, and for conducting an investigation into the matter. I’m confident that the necessary strict measures will be taken against whoever carried out this ugly act.
This shameful action is completely contrary to our values.
Israel is a country that respects the different religions and their sacred symbols, and upholds tolerance and respect among faiths.
We apologize for this incident and to every Christian whose feelings were hurt.

Can someone teach Premier Smith how medicine works:
1 - a patient has symptoms. They feel something. Let's say there's a headache.
2 - a clinical history is taken. A story.
3 - a physical exam is done. Maybe that headache is shingles. 👇👇👇
4 - a differential diagnosis is generated. A list of ideas what could be the problem.
5 - treatment, testing or both are considered. Let's do a swab of that rash just above your hairline and treat with valacyclovir.
6 - a test or treatment is done and the situation is reassessed. Ah, I see the rash has crusted over now and the shingles swab is positive. You don't need an MRI.
7- at any point, a specialist opinion may be needed. The shingles has progressed close to your eye now, let's get ophthalmology to look at you.
The way medicine doesn't work is I have a headache and I book myself in for a private MRI which is normal because an MRI doesn't diagnose shingles, migraine headaches, temporal arteritis or acute angle closure glaucoma.
It's insane to think there is no one likely advising the Alberta government on how actual medicine is performed in 2026 - or for that matter in 2016, 2006, 1996 or 1986. The thing that should never happen is symptom leading to go get myself tested jumping the queue just because you have more money and jumping ahead of someone maybe with a new brain cancer on CT that really needs that MRI more than you for your shingles.
None of what Alberta is doing is for patient good. It's for something else. But not for patients.

Here’s Mark Carney’s illusion: he wants to keep Canadians in a state of fear and panic to distract from all of his costly failures at home.
The Carney Liberals have given us the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. He has not repealed a single anti-development law, approved a single pipeline, and housing construction is actually falling.
To top it all off, he’s doubled the deficit Justin Trudeau left behind.
These are all Liberal-made problems that Carney made worse.
And as for the U.S., Mark Carney’s talk of a rupture with the customer that buys two-thirds of our goods is not a plan. He has not negotiated a single new Free Trade Agreement with any country on earth.
The meetings, photo ops, and non-binding memoranda are all an illusion.
Mark Carney’s agenda is about enriching a small group of well-connected Liberal elites like him, who get corporate handouts of tax dollars and use tax havens to avoid paying the same bills they are charging you.
If we want to be affordable at home, safe at home, and strong at home we must make real change at home.
That’s why Conservatives are fighting for an end to wasteful Liberal spending. Let us cut corporate welfare, consultants, foreign aid, and handouts to fake refugees.
Unblock our resources.
Unleash our entrepreneurs.
Approve pipelines and major projects today.
Incentivize municipalities to build homes.
Cut the gas taxes on farmers, truckers, and steelmakers.
Stop the money-printing and inflationary deficits that drive up the cost of everything.
That’s the only way we will be strong at home and unbreakable abroad.

Canadian prime minister describes close ties to U.S. as "weaknesses that we must correct" cbsn.ws/4cPBE7L

We share a 9000km border with the greatest military empire and richest country the world has ever seen. We have been peaceful allies with them for 200 years. We speak the same language and overall same cultures and religions.
And this fucktard thinks this is a "weakness" ?!

🚨🇨🇦 Mark Carney just told the nation that Canada’s ties to the U.S. 🇺🇸 are a "weakness." 🚫
If that’s true, why is 91% of his personal wealth still sitting in U.S. holdings? 🇺🇸
🇺🇸 Why are his kids at U.S. universities?
🇺🇸 Why is Diana Carney still collecting checks from U.S. corporations?
If the U.S. is such a threat to Canada, lead by example: Liquidate. Sell the stocks. 🇺🇸
Bring the kids home. 🏛️
You can’t lecture us on "independence" while your family's future is built on the American economy. 🇺🇸
Pure hypocrisy. 🤔

The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion.
He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S.
He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7.
Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.

#REPORT: Newly discovered land records reveal that Carney Liberal housing minister Gregor Robertson has interests in $11 MILLION worth of investment property, a fact which he tried to hide when questioned by Parliament last week.
English

I’m old fashioned, but I have a few questions on the process of this story:
1) Traditionally, airing 13-minutes of free pre-recorded broadcast time with no questions would merit opposition gets free unchallenged air time as well. Was that offer made to opposition parties?
2) There appears to be nothing new or substantive to this message compared to what was shared at Liberal convention or frankly in any number of recent speeches. Why isn’t that highlighted in the story? This isn’t a breaking news story or revelatory to the government’s approach. It’s a recycled message.
3) While free broadcast time is available, why does the print story not allow a counterweight to the prime minister’s narrative through opposition voices? Can we expect one in a follow up?

Chris d’Entremont. Michael Ma. Matt Jeneroux. Lori Idlout. Marilyn Gladu.
In November 2025, the Liberals held 169 seats — a minority. Canadians voted for a minority.
On April 14, 2026, Carney crossed the majority line.
