The King is not what’s wrong with Canada. Renew Alberta is an organization committed to preserving the history of Old Canada by fighting for the independence of Alberta.

@TheJusticeDept This is a slippery slope you guys are going down. If a soldier is not able to invest on his operational outcome, then what happens if you ever issue war bonds again? Oh and something, something, congressional insider trading, something…

Fun fact: The amount of time that the sun is up doesn’t change when you set your clock. If you require sunlight for a specific task, then you can delay your task to when the sun is up. It’s really that simple. Forcing everyone to change their clocks twice a year to suit individual needs is ludicrous.

No! Permanent DST would delay sunrise in Calgary and Edmonton past 8am for 5 months, past 8:30am for 4 months, and past 9am for 3 months. It would delay Calgary’s latest sunrise to 9:41am, and Edmonton’s latest sunrise to 9:51am. Permanent MST is needed instead, it would not delay sunrise.

Well done @ABDanielleSmith, well done. Alberta will now be on daylight saving time year-round, says Premier Smith. calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

@timhoven Couldn’t care less. The fact that we aren’t moving the clocks anymore is what matters. If sunlight in the AM or PM matters that much to you, then adjust your schedule

@AnitaAnandMP You know what, why don’t you guys just go ahead and launder/embezzle the money without making up some humanitarian reason. You have an unelected majority now. You can pretty much do whatever you want…

If the road conditions, your vehicle, your driving experience or skill level require you to drive at half the posted speed limit in order to feel safe, you shouldn’t be operating the vehicle. You’re the hazard; get off the road.

Today, Canadians watch helplessly as a man who was never elected as a member of parliament, was not a Canadian resident, and who had no relationship to Canadians prior to being (s)elected as Prime Minister steals an unelected majority Liberal government. The irony of some falsely accusing the Freedom Convoy of trying to overthrow the government. What do you think is happening??!? @ChrisBarber1975 @TomMarazzo

@nenshi I don’t know if you can read, but just in case you can’t, maybe you can get your intern to reiterate that we are talking about and pushing for Alberta independence. A republic of its own. Not American statehood.

I’m ready to fight like hell for this country, and against anyone trying to tear it apart. The richest man in the world wants Canada to become the 51st state and is now amplifying Alberta separatism. So let’s ask the question: Who is funding this movement? Albertans deserve to know.

You don’t get to call yourself pro-democracy while rewriting the rules to stay in power. An independent commission did the work. The UCP’s job is to accept their recommendation. Anything else is blatant Trump-style gerrymandering. stalbertgazette.com/beyond-local/h…

PR meeting: Carney: "I think we need to capitalize on the positive PR that our astronaut is getting for us on board Artemis II." PR Guy: "Mr. Prime minister, the Air Canada CEO French scandal has you down 1.7 points in Quebec so we are thinking that the best thing you can highlight is how we sent up an astronaut that can speak French." Carney: "You don't think I should use this to re-establish that Canada and the USA are great working partners and friends? You know, to help garner some positive sentiment amoung the Canadian people towards our largest trading partner?" PR Guy: "No sir, we should definitely use this to go after that 1.7 points in Quebec. We still want to use that negative sentiment towards the Americans to solidify support for your government. In fact, we need to find a way to suppress the positive look that this is giving to Canada-US relations."

@Martyupnorth It was great to see it happen in real time but NASA needs to up their broadcast game. A go/no go poll for TLI would have been epic to hear just before the burn. It’s as big a deal as the launch itself. Still, really glad I got to see it happen in real time.

@SawyerMerritt Yes but so far spacex has the benefit of being able to use starlink which orbits at ~550km. Orion is way over that orbit and needs to use TDRS and the DSN for communication. Hopefully starlink is expanded beyond LEO once starship is heading towards luna.

@CanadianPolling It's not national infrastructure if it is only serving Laurentia. 90 billion dollars is the kind of number that would be enough to start our own moon program from scratch. Actually.

Chronic cardio is one of the most overprescribed tools in fitness. Long, slow miles every day can increase oxidative stress, elevate cortisol, and break down muscle over time. If longevity is your goal, muscle is the asset. Not mileage. Upgrade your training: - 2 to 3 strength sessions per week - 1 to 2 short interval sessions - daily walking, not endless running Train for performance, not punishment.

@MarkJCarney @RebeccaAltyNWT I’m glad something is actually getting built. But, let’s not forget that private industry was willing to do this decades ago if not for the regulatory obstruction towards resource extraction. What is going to be the return on investment here?

The Mackenzie Valley Highway has been a dream for Northerners since the 1950s. The 800 km-long highway will be a vital artery for this region, providing year-round access to Indigenous and remote communities in the Mackenzie River Valley, NWT. Our government is backing the project and moving fast, with construction beginning this summer.
