@FixingEducation State universities need to offer tuition credits to those majoring in education & planning to teach in that state. No student loans or significantly smaller student loans would be a big incentive to enter and stay in the profession.

My 20 years in public education have basically seen the notion of “picking your battles” turn into the lowering of expectations across the board. From PE, to behavior, to homework. We won zero battles in 20 years and are in danger of losing the war.

@tonyvincent Also note anyone who has a M365 Family plan shared w/ them only gets 15 credits/mo (same as non-subscribers) and has no access to Copilot integration in apps. The only way to get any real acccess now is to add Copilot Pro for $240/yr but it's unclear how many credits that gives.

Microsoft Designer has a new limit of 15 credits (prompts) per month on free accounts. Those with a MS 365 subscription get 60 credits/month to spread between CoPilot and Designer. There are alternatives you can use for free after you run out of credits. tonyv.me/pictureai

@MargevonMarge @DragonFemme @MSFT365Designer And as anyone who uses AI for images/designs knows, it often takes 5 to 10 tries to get an acceptable/desired result. This is like paying for Spotify Premium but being limited to 60 song plays a month.

@DragonFemme @MSFT365Designer Yeah they sneaked in only 15 AI credits/month or pay $10/month just overnight after getting millions of users hooked on using MSDesigner. Bait and switch! So... predictable. Makes the Ideogram bait and switch seem cheap!

@Office @Office365 @MicrosoftHelps @Microsoft - The concept of AI credits seems like a horrible idea. A credit for every email summary? I could use that in a few days. @GeminiApp @google do not restrict AI access with tokens and neither should you.
