Djibouti takes in refugees from Ethiopia, Somal*l*nd that *you* stan & Yemen. even I know the kids begging for food are IDP. yes there is a massive class divide in Djibouti, but it's not like you make it. recent attention on Djibouti is for cutting ties w/ISR despite being essentially a massive military base. Djibouti doesn't deserve a regime change bcz your tourism experience was morose.
Monica Marks@MonicaLMarks

In 112 countries & 7 continents, I’ve seen no sadder dictatorship than Djibouti. Its president hoards military rents while children stay illiterate & unfed. Djibouti is the only country I visited where many unaccompanied children beg for food & water, not even asking for money.

The Hotel Jazeera Group rather than harboring unrealistic presidential ambitions should instead coalesce around Deni, Saacid, or Farmaajo. The political climate doesn’t favor them. Real question is whether they want to prolong Somalia’s stale political farce or fight for change.

@johnanthonyr4 well said we the true Arsenal fans with very high standards need to protest consistently outside the Emirates against mediocrity and force the owner to bring in an elite manager

I actually have people asking for Fabregas to replace Arteta 1. Arsenal need to be be done with experiments and act as a serious club for first time in 20+ years 2. He professes love for Chelsea 3. He’s a snake

Whatever your opinion on Arteta in or out is, we can all agree how poor this was. Mikel’s team and his coaching was really poor today. He has to leave at the end of the season, whether we win a trophy or not. He also talks a lot after losses - and they lead to nothing. This football is not sustainable and is extremely predictable. We need huge change. #ArsBou #ArtetaOut

There are people who spend £100 on a match ticket. Arsenal season tickets go up to £2,000 a season. Include Cup + CL KOs and you can surpass £2,500. The most expensive ticket prices in Football and they tell you that you're a HATER for expecting entertainment!

@haadka Batılılar sizi iyi sikmiş! Irkçılık diye diye beynini kaybettin! Sen de bir maymunsun! Vatan haini bir piçsin. Somali Ordusu aslanları yakında Somaliand denilen ayrılıkçıların hakkından gelecek. Sen de kaçtığın Batılı ülkelerdeki delikte yakalayacaklar.

@TomCantonMedia no but you'd keep him or bin him off if we win nothing, if it's the former it would unfortunately reflect a small club mentality on your part buddy

@TomCantonMedia in any case we need to change manager and bring in an elite manager like a Luis Enrique for example, don't be one of the toxic positive so called fans that are allergic to demanding the very highest of standards that befits a massive club like Arsenal

@InaHussein91 Well based on I think Slot’s title came about largely because he inherited a title challenging team which was close to its rivals when Klopp left and had the benefit of enjoying a season where their rivals couldn’t compete due to what happened to the squads. Different context.

Arsenal haven’t been champions for 22 years. I told you this when you interviewed me. Our fan base have toxic positivity towards Mikel Arteta, as well as dismissing recurring patterns of failure. The fan base also have accountability towards the club, as justification for their processes and irrational positivity are why they renew his contract. #ArtetaOut #ArsBou

@SamJDean The culture war is that a mediocre ex-footballer and now "manager" has somehow got a historic and famous football club tightly gripped in his hands and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. Not even the owners.

There’s a culture war at the Emirates Stadium. The football Arsenal are trying to play is not the football that Arsenal fans want to see right now. The issue isn’t one side being right and the other being wrong. It’s the disconnect that’s the problem. telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…
