❗️🚨 BREAKING: Researchers used Mythos Preview to find the first public macOS kernel memory corruption exploit on Apple's M5 silicon, they give a glimpse into Mythos say it’s really powerful. Apple spent five years and an estimated several billion dollars building Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE), the hardware-assisted memory safety system built around ARM's MTE. It was the flagship security feature of the M5 and A19, designed specifically to kill the entire memory corruption bug class. Researchers from Calif built a working exploit in five days. According to Apple's own research, MIE disrupts every public exploit chain against modern iOS, including the recently leaked Coruna and Darksword kits. Calif walked into Apple Park this week and handed over the report in person. Full 55-page technical report drops after Apple patches the vulnerability.

Dear Mr. Hegseth, They are a horrible company. You should not only kick them out of @DeptofWar, but also out of the USA. Better yet, send them to Europe! Imagine the look on their faces the first time they have to fight a tethered bottle cap just to get a drink of water. Picture it. A cramped apartment with no air conditioning, a 250 sq ft "spacious studio" that costs a fortune, and a paycheck cut in half the second it lands because of taxes. Europoor life. No free refills. No ice in the drink. A tiny espresso instead of a proper 32oz coffee. Asking for the check and waiting 45 minutes while the waiter enjoys his mandatory break. And the regulations. A cookie banner on every website, a USB-C cable they're legally required to use, and a consent form for every breath they take. That'll teach them not to mess around with the US government! 🇺🇸 We'd be more than happy to make the arrangements. We'll get Anthropic to Europe as soon as possible. 🇪🇺
