The trope that 'Vision Pro is uncomfortable because it's made out of aluminum and glass' needs to die. Quest 3's default strap isn't particularly comfortable. To make it comfortable, you can add Meta's Elite Strap which brings the headset to 642g. And to make Vision Pro comfortable you can add something like this strap which brings it to 687g. The fact is, both headsets have poor long-term comfort out of the box, and both can be fixed by adding weight with better straps (which should be in the box in the first place). Yes, lighter headsets in the future will be more comfortable indeed, but weight is only part of the comfort equation. Ergonomics are the key overall.
