We can't keep waiting for the world to bring industrial automation to Nigeria. We have to start building it ourselves. After 300+ hours of non-stop fabrication, spending more than 5kg in material, and gathering hundreds of individual components, this is the foundation of a 6-axis robotic arm built entirely from scratch. They say hardware is hard. Doing it here is even harder. But holding the pieces of what this could become is a feeling I can't quite describe. Let's see if all the math was right. Assembly begins tomorrow.

I’m planning to build four robots in 2026. 1 Something for the kids (ok, me)- maybe a bigger spider bot 2 Some automation mechanism like a conveyor system because mechatronics 3 Something inspired by human anatomy 4 The main project for the year, an industrial grade robotic arm

Tech Bros and App developers. An idea came to mind this morning. Is it doable? I sketched in my Diary. Can we have an App or software whereby, every drug has a bar code. Once you buy a drug or medical item, you scan it and you're instantly notified if it is original or fake. If it is fake, An alert is immediately sent to NAFDAC which means the app's algorithm will be integrated into NAFDAC's database Every Authentic manufacturer too will have these bar codes. For every Flag to NAFDAC, The alert will also trace the location of production and entire distribution chain of the fake manufacturers. Is it a doable? Thinking out loud. I'm open to more discussions. You can send a DM

Around 2009 when I was in Texas I purchased this Austin Mini from Austin. I paid $900 for it. No interior or powertrain. I listed it for sale on eBay for $3,900 with no reserve. Within hours the reserve was met. A few days to the end of the auction I got a phone call from one of the bidders who asked me if there was a particular dent. There was. The car then sold for $6,500. Apparently the son of the previous owner who bought it brand new in 1969 was the one that called. He bought it to restore and give to his Dad.

Instead of you to follow that educated boy that was doing 9-5 then and teaching you how to use excel you went to follow that yahoo boys that just returned from Cyprus and bought a 2009 Camry. Look at your life now. All your beauty that God gave you has faded away, you're struggling with your child and you're sewing purses day and night to survive. The boy is now a rich CEO and doesn't want to know you. The man you followed has no skill and fraud no longer pays him. One wrong decision can change the trajectory of your entire life.

One day, we will come together as a people and talk about the ridiculous increase in house rent. A country where about 95% of its population earns below ₦200k has no business renting a self-contained apartment for ₦1.5 million and above anywhere. It's madness.

@tchaloyi Astonishing to know that you are aware Simeon was black, nicknamed Niger, but you are been biased and hiding the truth. The Apostles of Jesus were not Christians, they belong to a religious sect called “the Way”. I have a feeling that you know this but agenda is agenda. 😁

Some people love to say Christianity is the "White man’s religion," but there’s a name buried in the early chapters of the Bible that makes that whole argument fall apart. If you open the Book of Acts, chapter 13, you’ll find a list of the top five leaders of the church in Antioch. These were the heavyweights, the prophets and teachers who actually ran the show. Right there, next to Barnabas and Saul (who became the Apostle Paul), is a man named Simeon. But the Bible doesn't just call him Simeon. It adds a nickname: Niger. Pause for a moment and process that for a second. In 1st-century Latin, "Niger" literally means "Black." This wasn't a metaphor. This was a physical description. While the ancestors of most modern "White" Christians were still worshipping trees in the forests of Europe, a Black man was sitting in a room in Syria, presiding over the church that would change the world. Think about the hierarchy here. Simeon wasn't some "convert" sitting in the back row waiting for a European to explain the Gospel to him. He was a Prophet and a Teacher. He was a senior executive of the faith. In fact, the text says that while they were fasting and praying, the Holy Spirit spoke. And who was it that laid hands on Paul and Barnabas to ordain them and send them off on their first world mission? It was Simeon and the other leaders. Imagine that visual. The great Apostle Paul, the man who wrote half the New Testament, had to kneel down so a man called "The Black" could lay hands on him and authorise his ministry. The Gospel didn't "come" to Africa through a colonial ship in the 1800s. Africa was at the table, in the leadership room, and in the spirit, right from day one. We weren't just invited to the party; we were the ones hosting it. Next time someone tells you that the faith is a social construct designed to make you submit to the West, tell them about Simeon. He wasn't a follower of a Western religion. He was an architect of a global one. Story don end. INALEGWU.

The White man wrote the Bible to make us submit to him. Christianity is a social construct — Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Controversial UK-based Nigerian pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, is once again at the centre of heated debate after a viral clip captured him making bold claims about Christianity and Africa’s colonial past. In the trending video, the founder of the Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation) alleged that religion was w@aponised against Africans during colonisation. “The white man came to Africa when he came to colonize us. He told us he was selling to us a bigger religion,” he said. He further claimed that certain Bible passages were deliberately inserted to enforce submission. “In his bible, he’s gone to insert things like ‘sl+ves obey your masters.’ He put it in his bible. He used God to trick us. He tricked us into submission. He tricked our leaders into submission so that he can use us build his own country.” The pastor argued that after benefiting from religion, Western nations have now distanced themselves from it. “Now, Africans are the ones embracing religion and he’s left it because he’s finished using it,” he stated. Adegboyega also suggested that a new generation of Africans is beginning to question long-held religious narratives. “There’s a new set of Africans coming up who asks questions,” he added. In one of the most striking parts of his speech, he said, “They put our parents in a ship called Jesus and they shipped them in chains and fetters to other countries.” He concluded with another controversial take: “Christianity is a social construct; it tells us how to marry even though there’s no how to marry in the bible.”

I keep seeing a few fashion or grooming faux pas among men that I think need to be spoken up about. Despite how casual I dress, there are rules about proper dressing that I thought were common knowledge but apparently are not. 1. If you wear formal clothes please wear LONG socks. Calf length ideally. If you sit, cross or raise your legs, your ankles should not show. Stop wearing ankle socks with formal clothes or worse no socks at all. Seeing your ankles in a formal outfit is improper. 2. Don’t fasten the last button on your suits. It should stay open. 3. When you sit down unbutton your suit jacket completely. When you stand up button the top one again. I’ve seen people sitting with their suits buttoned, looking squeezed. Every time you sit down unbutton your suit jacket. 4. Please you need to remove the label patch on your suit arm. Once you buy it, take them off. They’re not an accessory and they’re not part of the outfit. 5. If you’re wearing a full suit please stop wearing boat shoes or loafers, unless they’re equally formal. Otherwise, formal shoes, Oxfords or some otherwise dressy shoe. 6. Lastly, black belt on brown shoes, or vice versa. No. Belt and shoes should always match. I’m sure this is not for every body but if it’s for you please take notice and correct. (I can hear my dad’s voice telling me you still cannot make tie knots and you’re here giving sartorial advice, but it is what it is).
