If the logic is just “more minutes = stronger MVP case,” then Maxey, Mitchell, Brown, Durant, and Amen Thompson should all be getting real MVP push, too.
But they’re not, because everybody knows MVP isn’t a minutes award. Minutes matter, sure, but they are one part of the case, not the whole case.
So using minutes as the argument against one player while ignoring everyone else above Cade is where your logic falls apart.

I stopped calling Luka Stan’s crazy when I took a step back and remembered I’ve closely followed most of LeBron James’ career and seen how media manipulation has damaged his reputation. I think a a few things are working against the Luka MVP case:
Nico Harrison at the end of the day was employed by the NBA. On the outside looking in how do you explain to a casual fan that this guy traded away a player, who just a year later wins the MVP?
These are the people you have in charge of assessing talent ? 😂
It’s a hard sell, couple that with LeBron James being his teammate and the PR backlash that would possibly interfere with the GOAT debate if say the Lakers don’t win the championship in spite of playing with an MVP as your teammate ?
It doesn’t look good aesthetically.
