I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

I'm joining @SpaceX and @xai to build the best coding AI. For the last couple years I founded the most widely used coding agent for Android, scaling it to millions in revenue with a team of 3. I've watched model capabilities compound at a staggering rate and we're clearly on the brink of recursive superintelligence. Almost 10 years ago, I joined SpaceX as an intern on Dragon 2 crew displays. This was in the era of the first rocket landings on barges, long before the Dragon 2 restored human spaceflight to America or Starlink delivered internet from space. Every day since then, I’ve thought about the next steps to land on the Moon - and to build a city on Mars, data centers in space, the brains behind robots, and beyond. @ybhrdwj agree with most except skeletons. it leads to complacency with bad performance. can almost always avoid unless its truly a slow async call to some external service that causes layout shift.

this is the product and always the vision of it. too many email products were focused on teaching you how to manage your inbox and lost the plot. a great email product manages itself and adapts to you.

Andrew wrote software on Dragon 2 to launch people into space. Using AI well is a craft: specify physics, tune rendering, describe features. Chris Sawyer wrote assembly because PCs demanded it not users. Today’s great engineers work w/ AI to spend more time on the experience

This tweet about a new free to play coaster building game is going quite big. It is (at least partly) created with AI and looks absolutely shit. There is so much wrong with this it's laughable. Don't play this, it's not worth your time.

cursor ui is unfortunately getting worse

@danielraffel @aye_aye_kaplan you need to disable sync layouts (otherwise new window would change all your other windows)

Tell me and I'll fix it this week! * Please make sure it repros on the latest version of Cursor (2.3) so I don't waste time chasing a bug that's already fixed * Caveat that some bugs may not be fixable in such a short time
