Units are currently at the scene of a multiple vehicle collision at the intersection Story Rd and Capitol Expy. The intersection and surrounding traffic on Story Rd will be closed while we conduct this investigation. Please use alternate routes and avoid the area. @troypineapple @ABC7 You never want to the criminal to have higher fire power than you. Why would you bring a taser to a knife battle. You’re going to loose. You meet deadly force with deadly force. And if you say a knife isn’t deadly force, then that’s another issue in itself.

@MajorTomToG Call came out as a water rescue, meaning someone was in the water. So the firefighters were prepared to attempt a water rescue. I believe SJFD policy states that on any water rescue they must wear their PFD. And if they don’t wear their PFD they can’t be near.

Firefighters just successfully extricated a patient who became entrapped due to a mudslide along Coyote creek in the Tuers Rd homeless encampment. 1 female victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries. TOC 3:05pm

We are currently at the scene of an Officer involved shooting in the area of Hedding St and Park Av. The shooting involved a car jacking suspect. We are still gathering details and will update here when we can.
