Nah, it makes sense as to why they can't do that. It completely changes the balancing of the game.
It also makes sense as to why they want to keep it turn based for the main games, especially if competitive is going to remain as it is.
But I still think there's room to improve on turn based to give it some of the edge of real time combat.
Positioning being a big one.

You can tell who actually played Pokémon for the gameplay vs just the Pokémon themselves by the replies. Turn-based Pokémon carried this franchise for decades. The day it disappears is the day Pokémon stops being Pokémon sorry

@SamSamSidyBJJ @TheGameVerse yeah if you're going for an i9 and a 5080...you can get a 5050 or 5060 with a 14650 or 14700 i7 as a laptop for around $1100 - $1300 and it will pull well above its weight. PCs are more expensive, but I hate seeing people think they are only allowed to spend 3k- 6k on one.

Honestly nah. For most of the server slam everyone had white and green shields. Once blue, purple, and gold shields become more common the average TTK will be much longer.
