Remember Leonard Peltier? The Indigenous rights activist who the U.S. govt put in prison ~50 yrs ago after a trial full of misconduct, lies and racism? He turns 79 on Sept. 12. Amnesty Intl + other groups will be outside the White House urging Biden to finally release him.

They not only helped defeat an enemy on the battlefield, during World War II, but protected a sacred language and culture. We will never forget their contributions and sacrifice. We owe an incredible debt of gratitude to these heroes on National Navajo Code Talkers Day.
