@LittleDevil500 While in general I agree with what you’re saying, it doesn’t bother me in this particular case because of Aerith’s backstory. Younger Aerith probably WOULD be more reserved and less outgoing and energetic since she grew up as a lab rat from the time she was a baby.

@LCQualey Agree to disagree. Female characters should be allowed to have an outgoing personality without it being retconned to come from their love interest.

I will never understand how people hate on DoC cause of the story, but then turn around and enjoy CC, which literally shits on the original characterization of certain characters💀 Oh well...

@LittleDevil500 Zack is a whore though, it’s no secret that he’s a lover of the ladies. Aerith adopting what Zack said to her and adding more playfulness to its original meaning just makes it better writing.

@LittleDevil500 I read this, but I don’t process it as misogynistic. I see an author reading his older work and thinking, “my flower girl kinda sounds like a whore, maybe I should fix that.” Once again, I’m not trying to start a fight or anything, I’m just sharing my perspective.

@LCQualey Well, the reason why they changed Aerith's personality is simply misogynistic. So I do take issue with that. People didn't like Aerith being forward, so all of her definining traits were retconned to come from Zack😑
