@Tom_Suozzi Name a specific policy from the platform of any existing or soon-to-be progressive or socialist lawmaker, and explain to us why it’s "extreme".

@rlycuteguy Yup like the fetishization of her smile and her laugh and the way her feet smell after a 13 hour shift raw and sweaty and the way her dimples show when she blushed

The worst thing they don’t tell you about break ups is that you just keep the fetish you developed from her

I love how centrists will claim "we’re all about the affordability agenda!" But then progressives get elected and they’re like "we’re going to war!" Over what policies, specifically? Anyway this is why AOC needs to President.
Andrew Solender@AndrewSolender

NEW: Dem centrists are already plotting how to curb the left bloc’s influence next Congress. “You’re going to see a group of moderates do exactly the same thing: 'We won't vote for X unless we get Y,’” one told @axios “There’s going to be a war.” axios.com/2026/06/25/mam…

@LeftyWinter Jeffries is weak, he'll either get out of the way or be ousted.

I'll give Hakeem Jeffries credit for being a little more uniting than Pelosi was towards the left flank of her Party.

WATCH — @RepJeffries on Zohran-backed candidates sweeping 🧹 his incumbents in the primary: “I don’t think we’re on opposite pages… we have agreed to strongly disagree, and we put it into the hands of the people of New York.”

I don’t want to harp on this too much, but what did AOC gain from not endorsing Claire and Darializa? The preferred choices of her establishment friends lost. She now has less power and influence, not more.

What’s funny is that establishment Dems would be given a lot of grace if they could just display some humility, say "you know what, the party’s changing and I respect that", champion broadly popular progressive policies, and stop enabling Israel. But most will not do that.

@LeftyWinter Idk, I love AOC but I don’t think Krystal is entirely wrong here. I feel like she should’ve been an integral part of last night’s victories instead of being weirdly absent. She hasn’t even acknowledged their wins yet to my knowledge.

Girl AOC's numbers went up 5% and got nearly more than 10k more votes than 2024. Her constituents like what she's doing. That's who she listens to not some podcaster bro's. Her, Mamdani, Bernie have different roles they each play.
Krystal Ball@krystalball

Last night also demonstrates the problems with AOC’s don’t rock the boat strategy. Since she has refused to endorse against sitting members, she is on the sidelines of a movement that she herself helped to kick off and logically should be leading. Missing the entire Dem Tea Party at the federal level because the once insurgent is now a de facto incumbent protector.

I'm sad to say that I think this is correct. I truly hope AOC is savvy enough to grow and understand, like Mamdani does, that her power will come from boldly expanding the movement she helped start, not holding out for establishment relationships that are worth less by the day.
Krystal Ball@krystalball

I'm sorry but this is cope. It's not some 4D chess, she refuses to endorse against Dem incumbents in Congress because she prioritizes her own comfort and relationships over the movement. She wouldn't even endorse in the open seat the Claire Valdez just won or her own former Chief of Staff. The AOC of today would not endorse the AOC who defeated Joe Crowley. That is deeply unfortunate and sad.
