Remember that time you thought, "Gee, I wish this training was more realistic?" and instead of becoming obsessed and learning how to build a simulator, you went on with your life? I hit pause and went to work. We call this one, "Who would you triage FIRST?"

i genuinely don't understand how anyone hates Elon the night before flight 4, he was vomiting with stomach ulcers from the stress of crashes, with both SpaceX and Tesla on the brink of bankruptcy he launched it anyway, when 99.9999% of people would've quit. that's bravery. and it reached orbit. now, that same company will have the largest IPO in history. absolutely one of the most inspiring stories

@quasiireastclly @KDansky @Noahpinion Dude, if you are born with a dick you're a dude, man. The type of dishonesty that tries to muddy the waters with this being gender vs sex is the same type of stupid side quest that stops us from curing cancer as a society

@KDansky @Noahpinion I don't think you're too stupid to understand that the progressives believe that gender is socially constructed. You're the lot that wants to define gender by biology. Like that's not regressive.

Americans really, really do not like progressive ideology. They liked liberal ideology. When liberalism gave way to progressivism, Americans started to walk away.

New YouGov report on American partisanship between 2007 and 2025 shows that with the one exception of college educated white men, every major demographic group in the US has become more Republican on balance over the last 20 years.

This is NOT Gaza. This is NOT Iran. This is Philadelphia, United States of America. In a Muslim American Society (MAS) Islamic school, young children are being taught to glorify jihad, martyrdom, and the murder of Jews. Listen to what they’re singing and reciting on stage: “Glorious steeds call us… The blood of martyrs protects us… We will chop off their heads and liberate Al-Aqsa… We will subject them to eternal torture.” One little girl proudly asks: “Will Jerusalem be a hotbed for cowards?” Another declares: “We will defend Palestine with our bodies.” MAS Philly is part of the Muslim American Society, which has 42 chapters across the US. Their official mission? “To convey Islam with utmost clarity” and build a “virtuous and just American society.” Teaching American kids to become martyrs and chop off heads is not “virtuous.” It’s grooming the next generation of jihadists, on U.S. soil. This is insane. And it’s happening right now in America. Share this. The denial has to end.

The Islamic regime has confirmed the death-sentence of 18 year old Melika Azizi was carried earlier today. Melika was arrested in January 2026 during nation-wide protests and charged with "moharebeh" (waging war against god for allegedly burning Islamic regime symbols. In court, Melika told the judge: "You let so many young people bleed. How can I remain silent? I don't care just kill me" She was a brave young lady!

A 79-year-old doorman was savagely beaten on the Upper West Side while protecting a Rabbi's home. The doorman, who goes by George, refused to let a stalker up to the Rabbi's residence. After being refused entry, the 29 year old assailant beat George. George spent five days in the hospital. If you see the man on the right, do not approach.

The Diablo franchise will turn 30 this year. It ranks among the most successful and highest-grossing game franchises of all time. Over 100 million copies have been sold across the four main games (including expansion sets), bringing the franchise close to US$3 billion in total revenue. Diablo IV alone generated US$666 million in global sell-through revenue in its first five days after release in June 2023, making it Blizzard's fastest-selling game ever at the time. Now, here comes the real kicker: Within one year of Diablo IV's release, revenue from microtransactions had already surpassed the combined lifetime revenue of Diablo I and Diablo II. Let that sink in - not from the original sale of the game, but purely from in-game purchases, Diablo IV is dwarfing the first two entries in the series combined. Sales figures for games still matter, but mainly as an indicator of the multiplier that can be applied to in-game microtransaction revenue; that endless stream of dollars pouring into mega-corporations, powered by quick dopamine hits from microtransactions. With younger generations growing up in an essentially cashless society, the perceived value of money has declined. If you’ve never held a $100 bill (let alone earned one), it's easy to forget what it really means. It becomes just a number on a credit card bill. When in-game transactions are small (single-digit amounts) they feel like almost nothing… but in the end, they add up to billions for those who design games that are meticulously streamlined and fine-tuned to guide players toward yet another microtransaction… and another… and another. Maybe after all those cover images on the game boxes are more fitting than we know.

I can’t imagine looking back and remember booting up Diablo I and seeing a micro-transaction shop pop up mid-dungeon crawl. Or any of the games we grew up with, actually. The “worst” we ever dealt with was those sketchy 1-900 player hotlines (remember those?!). At least for me. I wonder if this part of the reason why we remember games of the past as if we were remembering days of Camelot. We can’t turn back the clock, so what’s the realistic compromise? Premium single-player experiences? Something else?

@michelletandler I'd really delve into the concept of Taqiyya. Because she's either a believing Muslim or she's not - and in a fundamentalist view, a true believer wouldn't hide their support. BUT if she is justifying the sweeping under the rug as Taqiyya, then lying is, well, kosher for them

This was the most profound experience of my life. I am stunned beyond comprehension. This molecule is without peer. The 27mg dose opened up what felt like pure consciousness and intelligence. A majestic reveal of existence itself. In all its incomprehensible glory and majesty. It is impossible to explain with words. Whatever you imagine, multiply it by 1,000 and then add infinite width and depth and dimensions. But entrance was not granted without prerequisite. Existence demanded that I submit. That I say yes; without attachment and without condition. Yes to existence; yes to the dissolution of self; yes to release control; yes, to all. My ego registered the ask and panicked. It wanted control. It was desperate for control. It pleaded to escape from the torrent of light and essence that threatened to rip my sanity into chards. The urge to eject was overwhelming. Terror thundered throughout my mind and body. It took everything within me to release. I overcame and was treated with bliss that defies imagination. A euphoria colored with perfect harmony of all things. An orchestra of essence washed over me and swept me up in dance. It was home. The highest aspiration of intelligent life. For some reason, stored and tucked away as the ultimate prize. A single concept emerged in omnipresence: we cannot grok the preciousness of our existence. Yet it is everything we’ve ever wanted and more. The state we long for without knowing it exists. This caused me great pain and heartache. A swell of loyalty and devotion emerged inside me, pledging allegiance to existence. To become a warrior and caretaker of life on earth. To protect at any cost the candle of consciousness that has miraculously emerged in this part of the galaxy. What awaits will wipe all your tears, soothe all your sorrows, and infinitely exceed your wants.

At midnight, the regime raided 18‑year‑old Melika Azizi’s home and dragged her to Lakan Prison in Rasht. She’s been beaten, cut off from her family, and sentenced to death. In court she looked the judge in the eye and shouted: “You’ve spilled the blood of so many young people, how can I stay silent? It doesn’t matter to me, kill me too.” This is a teenager whose “crime” was courage. We can’t let them execute her in silence. #MelikaAzizi #StopExecutionsInIran

Islam is a normal religion, and the Muslim Brotherhood stuff doesn't actually appeal to most Muslims. Criticizing the Muslim Brotherhood ideology, or the alliance between Islamism and leftism, is NOT the same as criticizing Muslims, and it's certainly not racist.
David J. Bier@David_J_Bier

One in four people raised Muslim have left Islam, which means that all polls of Muslim opinion substantially understate the degree of Muslim immigrant assimilation since leaving Islam is a type of assimilation. In my post today I document how big this bias...

Modern western progressivism is basically a form of secular protestantism, with a strong vein of Christian ethics running through it, however poorly applied I feel like there was something incredibly intense about materialistic ideologies when they first broke away from their Christian and/or aristocratic societies. Real communism and fascism have already been tried, and it wasn't popular

The progressive revolution failed faster and harder than communism did, and the rightist reaction failed faster and harder than nazism did. We're into the "sequels and remakes" era of ideological politics. Fortunately that means fewer people die this time.
