This is the frustrating part- folk on higher credits who never have to worry about scrapping got games like PV just assume they drop to 0 and then also assume our lack of points is due to lack of effort. It’s not. We couldn’t get the tix if we tried 🤣

@AFCC__ @MBEdits7 @Wellwod 100%. You do have to try your best to make every single one otherwise it is hard. I’m on 4 now I have easily missed 3/4. So I could have been on 7/8, once you get to 5 it will open up more possible games that will then hopefully get you to 10+

@MBEdits7 I'm on 9 now. 1st away game was city in the FA Cup (so would be on 10 if they didn't drop off after 3 seasons). Most have been done relatively cheap.

@MBEdits7 @Wellwod Was on 0 last season. Currently on 4+ after missing a couple last year & this year due to multi factors. It’s a graft but definitely possible. Should be on 10+ by end of next season. So definitely not a closed shop but I understand the frustration as I missed some that I could go

Should The Club just let any Johnny-come-Lately buy tickets for big games? Or just you?

Someone in my row has got to 15 away credits, with the Southampton game, from 0 at the beginning of the 2024-25 season. It isn’t a closed shop and people that say this are perpetuating a myth. It’s about being able to afford the cost and the commitment to games.

Several people all saying the same thing. Logged on at 1 second past 3pm and immediately hit with a “sold out” screen. Infuriating. Let’s have it right, away tickets ARE a closed shop. Let’s cut the bullshit. They just are.

@GrahamGstone @timstillman_ @WestStandTone This was something others pointed out. Just under 5k allocation. ~1,300 held back for supporters groups. So instead of a healthy 2,000 tickets for the 0-5 cohort to build their credits, you get about 600 you have to scrap for. Meanwhile a third of the away end is SC.

@timstillman_ @MBEdits7 @WestStandTone This is correct. You just have to be time and cash “rich” to build the credits. Good tech helps if limited tickets at an allocation point. Only issue I had with Soton was the apparent increased allocation to supporters clubs at the expense of gold membership.

@amcislington @WestStandTone @timstillman_ 🎯🎯🎯 This is the nuance people conveniently skip. Inter and Bilbao- if you wanted a ticket you could just get one. Leverkusen and Southampton- within a few minutes they’re gaaarn. But Tone will go “look, 4 games this season have gone to 0!!” out of context.

@WestStandTone @MBEdits7 @timstillman_ It’s only part of the evidence. For the complete picture you also need how many tickets were available in the relevant windows. For many of them they went in a flash at the final window. You could not just choose to get one.

@shane10roberts Yeah, I tweeted this out before the numbers came out. Apparently ~600 went to 0s. They very quickly run out when everyone on 0-5 is scrapping for them on the 4th sales window they’re eligible for in the season.

@MBEdits7 I got 1 ticket at 3pm so there were definitely “some” available. I had 2 in my basket but it would only allow me to checkout with 1. After speaking to the box office they seem to think someone else would have had the same ticket in their basket.

@WestStandTone @timstillman_ I am willing to admit though, I massively regret not going to Preston last season. I’ve been kicking myself for that one for a while. It’s only this season after everything settled down after getting married I’ve properly tried. Bad season to start.

@WestStandTone @timstillman_ I’ve had annual leave booked well in advance on the dates of the QF and potential SF of the UCL. If Sporting drops to 0, I’ll be there. Believe me if you want, or don’t. Makes no difference to me. But I know in my heart of hearts it’s not a lack of willing or effort.

@David_6878 @danmaruk @AFCFixtureNews If just one or two of the cup draws this season had fallen into an away ground with a big allocation I’d be on 3 or 4 by now. Port Vale and Chelsea stopped at 5+. It’s not lack of willingness on my part. That’s my truth. The draws just haven’t fallen this year.

@David_6878 @danmaruk @AFCFixtureNews I got to Inter. I couldn’t make Bilbao work. Too short notice with work. Leverkusen and Saints I was on the site the moment they dropped to 0 and couldn’t get them. Too many others in my position also scrapping for them.
