Statement by the Premier League At a Premier League Shareholders’ meeting today, clubs unanimously agreed to extend the £30 cap on away ticket prices for a further two seasons This decision means the £30 cap will have been in place for 12 consecutive seasons. Away fans help create the incredible atmosphere Premier League matches are renowned for. Since the cap’s implementation in 2016, it has contributed to attendance at away games increasing from 82% to 91%. The Premier League and clubs also acknowledge the additional costs associated with travelling to follow their teams around the country.

@MBEdits7 @timstillman_ @WestStandTone We don’t know how the club allocated the extra hold back and why. More transparency would clear this all up. My experience with regional supporters clubs is that they are nice people but not deserving of a favoured status. Happy to be educated why they should!

@GrahamGstone @timstillman_ @WestStandTone This was something others pointed out. Just under 5k allocation. ~1,300 held back for supporters groups. So instead of a healthy 2,000 tickets for the 0-5 cohort to build their credits, you get about 600 you have to scrap for. Meanwhile a third of the away end is SC.

Someone in my row has got to 15 away credits, with the Southampton game, from 0 at the beginning of the 2024-25 season. It isn’t a closed shop and people that say this are perpetuating a myth. It’s about being able to afford the cost and the commitment to games.
Matt@MBEdits7

Several people all saying the same thing. Logged on at 1 second past 3pm and immediately hit with a “sold out” screen. Infuriating. Let’s have it right, away tickets ARE a closed shop. Let’s cut the bullshit. They just are.

@timstillman_ @MBEdits7 @WestStandTone This is correct. You just have to be time and cash “rich” to build the credits. Good tech helps if limited tickets at an allocation point. Only issue I had with Soton was the apparent increased allocation to supporters clubs at the expense of gold membership.

@MBEdits7 @WestStandTone it is, for sure. You have to take certain European aways and the odd cup game at a big team / League Cup away. But that is the case because the tickets are in limited supply.

@LeeBeeSW All I would hope for is some transparency of how they are split and an explanation of why club chose certain groups. I understand why the club gave more to European Supporters Clubs when we played in Milan but this one is harder to fathom- although I don’t know the split.

In games that are hard to reach it makes no sense holding back around 1500 tickets. Those should go to the STs trying to build. I even had a mate that could have used his silver for his son
Graham@GrahamGstone

@LeeBeeSW Big surprise that the club are taking 500 more than they normally do favouring one group to the detriment of the gold members who pay a big wadge to the club.

Wild that 1,480 Southampton tickets were held back. SC members who wanted it on their own ST for the point missed out and had to go through a SC, so the point goes to someone else. Aren’t SCs doing what ST holders did for Milan, but with no penalty? How’s that fair?

@bootifulgame @tcw_arsenal @Salibasexual02 Says on the ticket page that they will do a further ballot for standby and then an additional Window 2A where standby ballot winners can buy. Common sense prevails.

@tcw_arsenal @Salibasexual02 I cannot believe they will make it a free for all, because that would result in 10,000 people fighting for 1,000 tickets, and 9,000 fucked off people. I suspect they'll do an extra ballot and simply email the correct number of people, telling them they can log in and buy.

@DeanWolves10 @afcDW Not true. They identified Ty and turned round to follow him. They hounded and bullied him. It was a tawdry spectacle. Banter is fine and you had every right to give it out but they were well over the line. Shame, because the Wolves we met in the Wheatsheaf were top people

@afcDW That’s the home side and they walking away from the ground! Also at the beginning of the video you can clearly shouting relegation so he’s giving it out! Never going to go down well is it! Also I don’t have a clue who the chap is tbh so guessing most of wolves fans don’t either!

@bootifulgame @a_ubzz @AFCFixtureNews Thank you for all the work you do @bootifulgame . My hope is that the club is transparent with the process. People get very emotional about this and the historical practice from the club doesn’t help.

Following tonight’s fantastic win, a reminder of the Arsenal cup final ticketing policy. For information, for last season’s Final, Newcastle received 31,939 tickets and Liverpool received 32,210 tickets. I’m sure Arsenal will put out the full information today or tomorrow.

@a_ubzz @AFCFixtureNews @bootifulgame You can expect the club to take out 2,000 for sponsors, players, box holders etc. They normally take out just under 1,000 of a 3.000 allocation. In Window 1 there are just over 3,000 eligible so I reckon that’s about 27,000 to Window 2 based on last year’s final allocation

@AFCFixtureNews This is where I need Mr @bootifulgame to work his magic. Rough guess - how many STs do you reckon eligible for Window 1? Expect 99% of the remaining STH will be eligible in Window 2…

@garfieldaharbil @afccharlie A number of people receiving the email put the correct details in for the person attending did not transfer it or photoshop/ edit the names and still received the email. My name was entered, on the ticket and I attended and went through the check fine yet still got the email.

@afccharlie Club were clear on season ticket name had to match details you inputted. Can understand some things they’re doing are getting silly but was crystal clear. Sending a random hotel booking isn’t enough. Best thing is show your passport with stamp in and out.

Seen lots getting emails from club after they have bought tickets for Milan and put someone else details in to use (which was the case every game 2/3 years ago btw) 4000 tics which ended up going to red members and they act like that. Yet 1000 each game go to who they like. Poor
