Everyone in the world has to take a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press?

@ckparrot I think this is fine. If everyone just picks based on Mel kipers board, it's just a lot of groupthink and laziness. To get ahead, you have to be better than others, and that means you have to recognize talent that others don't see. But you also have to be right and time will tell

Something else that stood out about Jon-Eric Sullivan as a GM and that is CONVICTION. They clearly came into the Proctor pick knowing it was going to spark criticism. Didn’t care. Sullivan noted very honestly most of their simulations had Proctor available. Which means he knew other teams didn’t value Kadyn the way they did. Didn’t care. “The buck stops with me.”

I am appalled to hear about the 31 sloths who died under the “care” of the not yet opened Sloth World in Orlando. These sloths — naturally solitary animals — were put in the worst conditions possible. They were taken from their natural habitats to a packed warehouse that wasn’t properly heated and allowed for the spread of deadly viruses, leading to a stress-induced death. @TheRealEstateG6 This is not good advice. Outperforming the S&P is very difficult, especially if you are just a regular person with regular resources and information. Not everyone has the same amount in the S&P, not everyone is able to withstand the ebbs and flows of the market.

What people don't understand about the S&P is that every single person in the country who has money is also invested in it When your money goes up 15%, so does everyone else's You gained zero relative wealth. You need to outperform the S&P if you want to actually get ahead

Broncos are trading for Miami WR Jaylen Waddle, per source. Denver receives: Waddle and Dolphins’ 4th-round pick (11th in round) in this year’s draft. Miami receives: Broncos’ 1st round pick (30th overall) along with their late 3rd and 4th round picks (30th in each round) in this year’s draft.

@ckparrot @schadjoe Well, I agree with that too, but I'm honestly looking more at 2028/2029, and I'm looking to build assets, whatever they may be, to optimize the chance of succeeding on that time frame. It's not tanking, per se, but building more wins in 2026 should not factor into decisions.

@MabdulD @schadjoe You should be looking to acquire any player you think might help in 2027 and beyond. But that's not what some people want. They only want to do that if the player specifically CAN'T help in 2026. That's not prioritizing the future, that's tanking. And it's a foolish fantasy.

Fans who want to “tank” for #1 pick without getting the coaching staff in on it and without trading away the team’s best players (e.g. Achane, Waddle, Paul, Brewer, Sieler, Brooks) are children living in a fantasy and throwing fits when adults refuse to live in their pillow fort.

@FredLambert I've owned Tesla stock since 2018 and it has been easily my best investment. I'm down to a third of my original shares, having sold off one third late last year. I find elon gross and the company's current direction suspect but I think FOMO keeps me holding those last shares.

I have a serious question for Tesla fans and $TSLA shareholders. How do you get over the fact that the company is led by someone, Elon, who, for a fact, asked to go to the "wildest parties" of a convicted p3do on several occasions and lied about it, and another, Kimball, who "dated" women, referenced as "Epstein's girls", through Epstein, and thanked him for it, and then lied about it? These are facts confirmed through their own communications with Epstein. It's not up for question, so you have to either ignore it or be OK with it. So I'm seriously asking. How do you do that?
