This Research Letter offers a creative approach to #sepsis based on a naturally occurring efferocytosis-enhancing RNA doi.org/10.1172/jci.in… Small noncoding RNA TY2 enhances efferocytosis and improves outcomes in a mouse model of sepsis by @AleCiulloPhD, @Marbanlab, @TheIbrahimlab & team @CedarsSinai. The image shows exposure to TY2 increases E. coli clearance by bone-marrow derived macrophages as indicated by fluorophore as a reporter of efferocytosis (green).

What would later be called the "CREDO" paradigm has been @MarbanLab's vision for nearly two decades and what a privilege to see it materialize! We discovered that cardiac cell therapy product #deramiocel ameliorates #Duchenne cardiomyopathy and, to our surprise, skeletal muscle function. Our patent, just awarded, has been validated by 4 clinical trials, including HOPE-3, in patients with advanced #DMD. @MarkAmin2019
