@iammockatory Just because you believe nonsense like this doesn’t make it true.

@paulhutcheon He has nothing to grow the Scottish economy, he can’t borrow for revenue expenditure so how is going to pay for all the extra freebies? Surely not cuts elsewhere?

In the SNP manifesto, John Swinney promises not to increase income tax rates "over the lifetime of the next parliament". Given the SNP broke a similar promise in 2021, why should anyone believe them this time?

@GraemeDownieMP I am not a Labour voter but am willing to vote tactically. As Sarwar says, “He’s (Swinney) had 20 years, give me 5”.

John Swinney is so desperate and irresponsible that he's willing to sell out Scotland's security, speaking without knowing what he's talking about. Amateur and unacceptable.
Michael Shanks MP@mgshanks

The first responsibility of any government is national security. John Swinney has sought to play politics with that security in recent days. To set the record straight I have offered to arrange a security briefing so that he can fully understand the reasons behind the decision.

So the SNP’s big economic plan is now… paying comics, filmmakers, artists and musicians a state salary. £15,000 a year funded by taxpayers while public services crumble. They’ve completely lost the plot.

NEW: Malcolm Offord absolutely sticking to his story that Anas Sarwar suggesting working together to get rid of the SNP. Speaking to journalists today, he said Sarwar - who strongly denies this ever happened - is lying:

@Jebadoo2 It would be laughable if this nutter didn’t have a chance of becoming an MSP. That makes it scary.

SNP sold out Scotland selling off-shore wind turbine licences via ScotWind for peanuts so I am genuinely interested how ‘independence’ would lower energy bills? @theSNP @JohnSwinney

The SNP's flagship ferry has broken down again. 7 years late. 4x over budget. Now it can’t even run for a week without breaking. MV Glen Sannox isn’t a ferry — it’s a floating humiliation for the SNP. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@afneil Welcome to SNP-run Scotland. For their incompetence, it looks like they will get a further five years to damage us even more. Normal politics in Scotland doesn’t exist.

Scottish government’s Glen Sannox ferry, built and owned by the state, began serving the busy Troon-Isle of Arran route in January 2025.  It was seven years late and four times over budget.  It is now out of action with engine problems. It only returned to service last week following previous repairs to its exhaust system. It also needs new propellers as part of £3.2m repair costs, along with its equally troubled sister ship Glen Rosa.

Kemi Badenoch has launched a disgusting personal attack on the Chancellor, Rachel Reeves. It's really difficult to listen to. Absolutely shameful behaviour from the leader of the opposition.

Had an amazing time at this event! The HND students at @NCLanarkshire @NewCLanArts brought Shakespeare to life in such a fresh and engaging way. A great reminder that Shakespeare is a challenge every actor should take on. Hope this is just the start of many more! #Shakespeare
