@geksnikkel @Optus I eventually got a new static IP address and it fixed it. Optus accelerated this to a backend technician and she reset the dynamic IP address to a new static address. Spread the word. This is the fix.

@MerrilynJenkins @Optus I am aware of at least a dozen people with the same problem, mostly in the Sutherland Shire. Optus support are refusing to help them.

Ok @optus why can’t I send an email from home internet since last Thursday? Keep getting smtp error. Hours and hours on chat. And I am not the only one! Stop denying there is a problem!

This will be a massive change in high school classrooms - but it's the right thing to do.
A government I lead will stop the use of phones in all NSW public schools.
Making sure that where kids require access for special circumstances, they're able to do so.
