James Talarico... you can't love your neighbors and abort them. If you wouldn't want to be poisoned and dismembered, then why do you support that option for babies? You cannot love your neighbors and support the destruction of their bodies via wrong sex hormones, puberty blockers, and double mastectomies. The gender-deceived kid who was illegally rendered permanently sterile is your neighbor. You can't love your neighbor and support the infiltration of illegal foreign criminals who will kill them. Jocelyn Nungary, a teen who was murdered by two illegals in Houston, was your neighbor. You can't love your neighbor and call for the abolition of prisons, which you have, James Tallarico. Jacqueline Wilson was a Houston mom of four, 32 years old. She was reportedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend who was released from prison by a progressive judge despite being a violent offender. She was your neighbor. You can't love your neighbor and deny the gospel that saves their souls as you have so many times when you've asserted that all religions point to the same truth that Jesus points to. You can't love your neighbor and support the chaos that kills them. You can't love your neighbor and lie to them. You can't love your neighbor and affirm sin. You can't love your neighbor while hating the things that God hates and loving the things that satan loves and you do. You are an insult to Christianity. Your beliefs are an affront to the Imago Dei and I look forward to Texans showing you out of politics in November and hopefully you are shown out of the pulpit as well.

@TheQuartering Probably. To be fair the trailer doesn't look awful and Nick Frost is S-tier casting as Hagrid. However, I don't think I can forgive the casting of someone described as: “... greasy, black, shoulder‑length hair, a hooked nose, and sallow skin.”

@farmingandJesus I'm not a Calvinist, but seeing a heart that hardened makes me question that maybe there is an elect and that is NOT one of them so why bother. That type is also why I'm not, because you're right, that heart can also be opened up by the Gospel.

@TheMiddleborne My suggestion if it's otherwise decent, we use AI to recast Snape to Alan Rickman and create the Fixed Snape Bootleg Special Edition. And in fairness, Nick Frost as Hagrid probably couldn't have been better cast.

@TheMiddleborne I'll have to go back and watch it again, maybe he did agonize over it some. Not yellow-kryptonite-my-powers-away levels of agony though :D

Superman agonizing over being forced to kill someone isn’t consistent with his character? It’s treated with utter seriousness and not a hint of flippancy. There isn’t a flippant moment in any of Snyder’s DC films The comics have always had a problem when it comes to no killing. They do it so they can bring villains back, not because it’s moral. And the stakes have to be low or have a ridiculous ex-machina to solve that issue.

The Daily Wire hosts mock and make fun of @TrevorSheatz for his viral "My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin" tweet. All the while, they show they don't know anything about the situation, or the fact that his wife @AshleySheatz has been sharing her testimony for years- it's been pinned to her profile since 2019- as a testament to God's mercy and lovingkindness.

@TheMiddleborne I think putting him killing in the first movie in the series was flippant. Henry Cavill was perfectly cast, though, and I would have loved to see a later version of that comic arc in film in that universe.

@TheMiddleborne Killing Zod was made to be the only way to end that fight, but it's not consistent with Superman's character. Check out the "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" arc by Alan Moore. It's about Superman having a moral crisis after killing and ending his own powers.

My take aways from the trailer. - It doesn't look awful. - I don't know why it needed to be made. - The Snape casting decision will probably result in this failing more so than it not needing to be made. - RIP Alan Rickman. Perhaps if this film is decent we AI edit him in.
