48 hours ago I didn’t know what a Call Sheet was. Now my name is on one as ‘Director.’ Heading to LA to film with some of YouTube’s most talented creators and strategists. We’re creating the videos I wished I had when I started. Honestly? I’m nervous. Over the years I’ve gotten comfortable being comfortable. Less playful. Less explorative. Why do something scary when you could rinse and repeat what’s been consistent? But that’s not how the people I admire live. That’s not who 18-year-old me envisioned I’d become. I entered a creative career to be creative. Sometimes the best art comes from new techniques. My mind keeps asking: What if this fails? What if people don’t show up? What if they do and hate it? What if the videos flop? But you know what… What if it’s the most successful thing we’ve ever done? What if everyone shows up and loves it? What if this is the beginning of something seismic? Only one way to find out.
