@AFpost Nothing worse than when investors move into an area and put giant lights and the sky dissapears. I would shoot out the lights of the places that do this near me if I could get away with it. It destroys God's heavens in relation to us, and not even lighting bugs can reproduce.

Sort of. There’s a romanticized view of US history. WW I, WW II, the Great Depression, etc really kept people poor. People paid for doctor visits by trading goods for services. People didn’t use the doctor for every small thing. It’s complicated. Insurance companies and government corruption truly damaged our healthcare. Things are bad today but people spend far more on luxuries today than in any part of our history.

I don't want to be rich. I want to take my kids to the dentist without checking my account first. I want to say yes when my friend asks if I want to grab dinner. I want to replace my car's brakes before they become a prayer. Somewhere between "rich" and "broke" there used to be a place called "fine" It's gone now.

Requiring forest preservation at the local level. In 10 years the southeast region will be unrecognizable compared to the lush forest and rural areas that once characterized the region. Far too much growth and migration to the southeast and no appreciation by many who move from urban towns and consider nature a nuisance.

The water crisis in South Texas just hit a breaking point. 📉 At least six towns—Taft, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Three Rivers, Orange Grove, and Alice—have all issued disaster declarations in the last two weeks. The regional supply is failing, and demand is officially higher than what’s left in the reservoirs. While small towns are begging for help, the priorities are clear: One Exxon-SABIC plastics plant nearby is burning through more water than all 300,000 residents of Corpus Christi combined. The state says they need $174B for long-term water infrastructure, but they’ve only put up $20B. That’s a $154B gap while towns are literally being forced to drill emergency wells just to keep the taps running. Corpus Christi is already projecting mandatory 25% cuts by September for residents and hospitals, but they're still protecting the industrial heavy-hitters to avoid "wrecking the economy." I believe glyphosphate is to blame for many of the disorders in modern America, including mental instability and even anxiety. Every inch of our population has been exposed to it, essentially treated as test subjects. The evidence shows it is a toxic chemical but the symptoms are so vast that a lawsuit will never be enough to right the wrongs.
