How do people feel about watching top players struggle in the wind/links golf? Personally I love it. Rory couldn’t hit this shot in a million years on a ‘typical’ course in nice weather. A poor shot from 93 yards ends up 20 feet away normally. Links golf eh!?

@OceanDocX @digilpin @andycaddell Ace wasn’t it?! 💙 I was lucky enough to see Clarence in 2003. Jake is his nephew…. It’s so heartwarming how the crowd always give him special applause and I love that Clarence is fondly remembered at every gig too.

Seeing Bruce Spingsteen was cool enough but watching him on stage with the son (Jake) of his original saxophonist, Clarence Clemons (who died in 2011) was extra special. I think it makes lovely rock n roll story. @digilpin @andycaddell

@smithsmm @springsteen Relatable thread! Husband is a huge fan and I mocked him. Bought tickets for The Rising tour- Bruce hit me like a sledgehammer and I left the stadium a convert. Our first wedding dance was Thunder Road and our spaniel is called Rosalita (still love my indie Brit pop though 😂)

A little thread about @springsteen after seeing possibly the best live performance I have ever seen. Firstly let me start by saying I’m not a lifelong diehard fan. Bruce was always too uncool for my hip indie boy tastes in the 80’s, already a stadium dinosaur 1/9…
