This is for every Single Ladies Out here. I won't mince words here, & I will be more direct so you wouldn't say I didn't warn you about it on X. I've had too many inboxes on failed marriages & the ones currently in chaos and it hurts reading them. I have made it a resolve not to post people's DMs without their consent but here are some drafted points I need you to hold on to, look out for and make well informed decisions before saying "I DO" to the man you're currently seeing. 1. If Cheating or domestic abuse is a deal breaker for you, Make sure you're not in a relationship where you're overly dependent on your boyfriend financially. Make your own money oooooo. I wish I can go deep deep. 2. Never allow your boyfriend feed your family. He will insult your family for life especially in marriage. 3. Marriage amplifies character, be it good or bad. Hence, a man that cheats on you during relationship, will cheat on you in marriage, rent an apartment for that lady elsewhere & always pick a fight with you so he can use that excuse to sleep at that lady's place. (My dm is filled with scenarios like this). 4. Under no circumstances should you think that your man will change in marriage. In fact, the Joke is on you if you think you can change him. 5. The obvious Red flags you overlook during relationship, will become matters arising in marriage. He will make everything your fault. Report you to his family and they will believe him and hate on you. You're done for — If they already didn't like you before he married you. 6. If he's always shouting at you during an argument, in marriage, he will cover your face with dirty slaps. In fact, some of you are facing it already but you cannot leave because of the number one point I've aforementioned. This is a call to be observant in your relationship, I have cried enough tears reading DMs of my fellow women's pain and the unbearable things they are experiencing in their marriages. If you refused to take this seriously, marriage will shock you! Thanks for Reading 📚 this far.

"IF YOU DON'T HAVE A SON, YOU DON'T HAVE A CHILD YET" LET'S BREAK THIS YOUR REASONING, FAIR AND SQUARE, WITH LOVE. Dear King Chidi, I will speak as a gynae doctor, and as one who has held new life in gloved hands, and as a doctor who believes stubbornly, perhaps that truth can be offered without cruelty, and correction without humiliation. Dear brother, come closer. Not to argue, not to defend pride, but to listen. Let us sit with science first, because science is quiet and patient and almost shy, and it does not shout, and it does not insult. Here is the medical fact, clear, settled, and taught in every gynaecology textbook across the world, from Lagos to London: A woman’s egg carries only one chromosome: X. A man’s sperm carries either X or Y. So when X from the man meets X from the woman, the child is XX... a girl. And when Y from the man meets X from the woman, the child is XY... a boy. This means, simply, quietly, irreversibly, that the sex of a child is determined entirely by the man. Not by prayers. Not by posture. Not by the woman’s worth, obedience, intelligence, or cooking. This is not feminism. This is not rebellion. This is not a siding women. This is reproductive biology, endorsed by the WHO, the RCOG, the ACOG, and every medical authority that teaches how humans are made. So medically, respectfully, and without blame: A woman cannot fail to give a man a son. She does not control the outcome. She never did. And yet, because culture can be louder than science, women are still blamed for chromosomes they never carried. I say this as a doctor who has watched families fracture slowly, the way bones crack under repeated stress. When men are told, 'Keep marrying until you get a son,' what happens? Women become scapegoats for biology they do not command. Homes become battlegrounds instead of shelters. Daughters grow up learning, early and painfully, that love can be conditional. Men chase an illusion, believing masculinity is stored in a single letter of DNA. But legacy, dear brother, is not stored in a Y chromosome. I have seen women build businesses that outlived their founders. I have seen daughters sit at hospital bedsides when sons vanished into silence. I have seen female children protect family names with excellence, integrity, and memory. And I have seen male children abandon surnames through irresponsibility. Legacy is behaviour. Legacy is values. Legacy is how you loved, and taught, and showed up, especially when it was inconvenient. And because clarity is also a form of kindness, let me say this plainly: There is no gynaecological guideline, no medical law, no biological principle that supports the belief that women are mentally inferior, or that female brains quietly revert into incompetence, or that men must produce sons to be remembered. These are cultural myths. They are not medical truths. So I say this gently, without mockery and without anger: If you desire a son, understand your own biology. If you have daughters, honour them, they are not consolation prizes. And if you want legacy, build something worth inheriting. Because the womb does not erase men. Ignorance does. With care, and with science, and with hope.
KING CHIDI@guzu_p

I was called a mad man when I said this. If you don't have a son as a man, you don't have a child yet. It's not about demeaning the female child. It's about understanding the roles both play in our society today and realizing that men and women reason differently. No matter how intelligent a woman might claim to be, she's till a woman and at some point, her brain faculty will always revert back to her gender role. You can't be a business man and want to leave your enterprise in the hands of a woman. They're not mentally equipped to handle such task. As a man, if you die without having a son, just know your legacy will die with you. Your wife will probably move on with another man and give him children and create a legacy for him. Whereas you, no male child to keep your surname going and that's how fast you'll be forgotten. As a man, if your wife doesn't give you a son, marry a second wife and if she doesn't give you, continue spreading your seeds. In all you do, just have a son. Always remember; You can never rely on the girl child.

Understanding feminism involves doing the work on SELF to unlearn & learn new ways of seeing the world through an intersectional feminist lens. You need to retrain the brain, with new learnings. Clear principles & understand structural inequalities. No shaking.

Feminism is not a clique, its not banter, its not lets be moving mad, its not about who is in or out. It is simply about addressing structural inequalities perpuated by patriarchy, enouraged by religion and culture. Lets not be confused.

The African Feminist Movement can be summed in these words... "Nobody warned you that the women whose feet you cut from running would give birth to daughters with wings." When African feminist poet @ijeomaumebinyuo wrote this in Questions for Ada, she aptly reflects the passing of the baton of feminist resistance and organising across the continent, through time. From Azania to Kemet, the African Feminist Movement is vibrant, living, breathing, thinking, acting, resisting, and organising. #FeminismMonday Feminism is a living movement that adapts, grows, and leads the way toward a more just world, from the fight for the right to vote, to breaking barriers, and to amplifying diverse voices today. It is not about one gender over another, it’s about fairness, inclusion, and the courage to transform systems that no longer serve equality. When every voice is valued, humanity thrives. #Feminism #EqualityForAll #Inclusion #Justice #AlliancesforAfrica @coimpactcollab @UNHumanRights @unwomenafrica @mamacash @ActionAidNG @AmnestyNigeria @amplifyfund @FemnetProg @FordFoundation @awdf01 @SOAWR
