So, here we are. It has been 24 hrs since my @ledger wallet was compromised by a scammer over an unvrevoked @gondixyz contract. A nightmare came true. It was truly a horrible night, but what the team showed in effort and endurance was outstanding! I never thought I would see those NFTs of mine again. But here we are. Almost everything is put back into my wallet after a few hours. How? The team figured out who bought from the scammer and explained the situation to them. Eventually, they would sell for the price they bought the NFT. I was speechless yesterday, and I am speechless today. But the reason changed. Yesterday I did not believe this could happen to a professional team like gondi and I was mad. But today they proofed what great teams are all about: passion! They did make a mistake. Or someone did, but the way you deal with it - that makes you professional or unprofessional. Thx to everyone at @gondixyz for not giving up and trying to make things right. I truly appreciate this, especially given the world we live in these days. I really lost faith in humanity watching all the news around the globe lately. But your team and those honest new buyers showed my a little light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe there is a chance for us after all. I really want to believe that. Thx to all of you.

That sounds good. At first. And trust me, I want to believe that the Team at @gondixyz is hard working and all, but no, I was not contacted directly. I contacted you cause other people were telling me to look at this exploit. And maybe also true, we are talking about a limited number of NFTs. BUT, they even stole my @artblocks_io pieces on my @Ledger wallet, which never were in a loan (yes, same contract, I get it). But I held them for eternity. And now, eternity seems over. Sorry to be so blunt, but this feels so unreal I could scream the whole day!

✅ UPDATE: Exploit Contained We can now confirm the situation is fully contained and no further NFTs are at risk. What our investigation found: • A limited number of NFTs were affected • The exploit was isolated to the Sell & Repay contract deployed on February 20 • All users who interacted with this contract and were impacted have been contacted directly by our team What was never at risk: • NFTs in active loans — not affected, at any point • Buying, selling, listing, accepting bids, and trades — not affected, at any point All platform activity is safe to resume, including: → Repaying, renegotiating, and refinancing loans → Starting new loans → Listing for sale, buying, accepting bids, and trades The Sell & Repay feature remains disabled while we deploy a fix. All other functionality is fully operational. Thank you for your patience and for acting quickly on our earlier guidance.

Very sad day for the NFT space… 78 NFTs have been transferred into the scammer’s multiple wallets from various victims, and this particular wallet (0x8d171c74c85cd2ec9f38143dd5d8a7c89df47051) has just WETHed 16 NFTs in only 30 minutes—including BAYC, XCOPY, Gazers, Doodles, ACK, and more… totaling ~55 ETH (~$108K). Victims suspect a link to @gondixyz loans/private listings after recent repayments. @0xQuit, any quick insights or help for our collectors? 🙏

It appears there has been an exploit on the Gondi platform that allowed some NFTs to be stolen. The team is currently investigating the situation and will report back as soon as possible. While the exploit appears to affect only a specific use case and assets in custody remain safe, we recommend stopping use of the platform until further notice and removing approvals for the associated contracts.
