@JoolsWatsham @louistheroux That doc was so depressing to watch. I saw measured commentary and reason being immediately subverted and turned into “content” for fame and money. And a ravenous audience, never questioning, cheering it on. Creeped me out.

I just watched Inside the Manosphere on Netflix by @louistheroux. Yikes. How sad. I am seeing a lot of fear and pain being projected as strength and control. They are on a path of destruction. They will have regrets. Strength is being kind and respecting both women and men.

@JoeMerrick So sorry about this Joe. We’re constantly dealing with this crap as well. Entire IGN guides are being sold on Kindle — and a major site ripped off maps and custom-written markers/tips verbatim from us (thousands!). I have no idea what has emboldened these people. Hang in there.

Still seeing the Pokopedia and Pokodex apps having errors I had/have on Serebii. Why those apps are still up despite having been publicly proven to have just scraped Serebii, I have no idea.

@MoxsyOG I’m so torn. It looks like it’d be right up my alley. But the comments on control issues and “you have to play it for a long time for it to get good” has me hesitating. :) I might wait for a few patches more….

Lmao the Crimson Desert effect. When I said I didn’t like the game until I was 8+ hours in I ment it. Game is an absolute slog in the opening hours. Doesn’t mean everyone will magically start enjoying it but it certainly gets better as you go

I mentioned that Midnight Diner is coming back (OT comment on Game Scoop) and I’m so happy I’m not the only one who knows it and thinks the show is Shinjuku Ted Lasso… before Ted Lasso. Watch it, fools.

@RAKYNITIN @IGN I haven’t been in the editorial realm for a few years (my team does game help and tools) — but from what I’ve seen Siddhant is pretty savvy of the subject matter. On the bright side, this wasn’t in my radar and I’m totally gonna watch it now. :)

@PeerIGN @AVGN82 I wouldn’t blame you guys though. Most of the “easter eggs” videos I’ve seen failed to notice the Saturn as well.

@AVGN82 In this case, he was quite a bit confused over the cases and the missing buttons — but he phrased it backwards (it’s a Temu Saturn). :) That editor is actually very knowledgeable (and awesome), but mistakes happen. Thanks for commenting back!

@PeerIGN I appreciate your response and apologies if my comment was a bit strong. I just find it frustrating when bigger outlets seemingly gloss over other consoles history, even if unintentional. It's good to see that your article had it recognised correctly

@AVGN82 But the editor also says it looks like a Saturn — it’s clearly not accurate (no blue strip, three buttons only, wrong cover art).

@AVGN82 Thanks for flagging, Carl. I let the UK editorial team know. For the record, our guides team correctly identified the Saturn Easter egg — so that blind spot/issue didn’t need to happen. Bad coordination. There are plenty of classic gaming fans at IGN.
