EXCLUSIVE: RCMP Probe Found Alberta Prosecutors Relied on Foreign Doctor with Falsified Experience Alberta Crown prosecutors have been relying on a forensic pathologist with a heavily falsified CV, according to findings from an official RCMP investigation that are now coming to light through a disclosure package. David Stephan, wrongfully convicted in 2016 of failing to provide the necessaries of life to his son Ezekiel, says the pathologist’s testimony was central: “I was wrongfully convicted and went to jail when I shouldn’t have gone to jail because of this Nigerian pathologist who may not even be a doctor.” Adeagbo, the Crown’s star witness, claimed Ezekiel died from treatable bacterial meningitis rather than any failure by emergency responders. Stephan’s conviction was later overturned. Now revealed in the disclosure provided to Stephan: RCMP found major “inaccuracies” in Adeagbo’s CV. He claimed employment at U.S. facilities including Fox Chase Medical Center, Salvation Army, Warren E. Smith Health Center, and Progressions Health System — but RCMP could not confirm any of it; his name appeared in none of their HR databases. Despite this, Alberta Crown Prosecution Service ruled the falsified CV did not meet the threshold for perjury and recommended no charges. Stephan says: “Alberta Justice needs to be vetting their expert witnesses a lot more.” He calls it “an absolute miscarriage of justice” that cost his family “over a million dollars, 10 years of their lives,” and demands every case Adeagbo touched be reinvestigated: “There may be people in jail right now who aren’t supposed to be in jail because of him.” If Alberta Crown prosecutors relied on Adeagbo’s credentials in criminal proceedings, should Albertans be expected to trust the same prosecution service to determine whether that reliance caused miscarriages of justice? Have you been to an IVF clinic? It cost me $18,000 to do IVF for my wife at age 34. Out of the three eggs that were inserted, only one worked. We were lucky becuse she was born with a lot of eggs and they had plenty to remove and fertilize. I can’t count how many hundreds of women were in that clinic going through IVF, all there with their husbands. That place was always packed with women. Women in their late 20s and 30s. Some even flew from another state cause it’s cheaper there. In fact, my wife’s friend already had two kids and was trying IVF for a girl at 33, but her eggs were of poor quality and none of them worked. The reality is that women don’t always talk about what they go through to get pregnant. People just see a 35-year-old woman having a baby and assume it happened naturally. When it was my turn in the process, all they needed from me was to ejaculate, and I wasn’t needed again after that. Meanwhile, the women had to take an entire box of medication. And even then, some attempts still failed. You can’t compare the two processes. If a man has low sperm quality, in many cases it can improve with lifestyle changes. But if a woman has poor egg quality, it is far more complex, expensive, and difficult to treat. It’s basic biology: men produce millions of sperm continuously, while women are born with all their eggs and lose them over time. This is why even an 80-year-old man, like Al Pacino, can still father a child. That’s just biology.
UGO SI MBA!@Janefrances_Al

The fact that you all paint a 35years old man as okay and ideal for marriage and a 30 years old woman as too old perplexes me.

@MarioNawfal Some strong false equivalency and blame-shifting here. The rule is, as the head of government of any country, if you elect to invade another country, you bear 100% of the capability for whatever ensues, no excuses. Putin is the sole person responsible for this man's death.

Speed lost his Chinese phone (Huawei trifold) in the sea. Apparently, he was extremely frustrated. "I went all the way to China to get that phone!" You know why he’s so down? Because he can’t buy that phone in the US as the government bans Huawei.

I think many people still don't grasp what this means. Chris Miller analyzed in his book "Chip War" that China is about 10 years behind in lithography machine production. Meanwhile, Huawei chips are achieving roughly 80% of the performance of the NVIDIA H100. China is probably more like 2 years behind the US, and the gap is narrowing. I will be writing a detailed analysis on this soon because it's far more significant than the models themselves.

I just got my income tax back and I don't want to discuss my financials but I am gonna say it made me almost physically ill. Legit. I just don't see how I can afford to be in Canada anymore. My money is being flushed down the toilet and I am zero better off for it. Debt payment, money laundering domestically and abroad, Ukraine, failed gov projects and investments, immigration handouts, etc. I just can't afford this gov and I know my kids definitely won't be able to.

This seems really bad and I don't know what to do about it: not so much the differences in political attitudes, that's fine, but there's a strong gender divide in belief on straightforward factual questions like "is nuclear energy low-carbon?" yougov.com/en-gb/articles…

The IDF is fucked. Ground operations in the Middle East won’t be so easy now that everyone can get their hands on FPV drones. I’m still waiting for Trump to deploy troops in Iran. That’ll be fun to watch.
