@CPyles8 Agreed! Also neat to see official Mike Allen in action. One of the very best ever and former UNI Panther. He is missed.

Not many wrestlers with a pin over Steve Mocco. Cole Konrad is maybe the most slept on wrestler of the past 20 years. A man with multiple wins over Steve Mocco and a dominant undefeated senior season. I thought Cole should have made the all quarter century team. Here is one of his wins over Mocco. This one was at National Duals. Epic scene. Also the official here is Mike Allen. Great ref who passed away recently. It's been interesting looking at a lot of old footage and seeing Mike in so many of these matches.

In 1992 Notre Dame canceled its solid wrestling program and stole the endowment that had been funding it about 18 months after the death of benefactor Bucky O’Connor - choosing to re route it to football. O’Connor had set up the endowment to honor his son who wrestled for the Irish and was tragically killed shortly after graduation. I know you are sorta Irish, and kinda Catholic, but once you know this- you can’t root for Notre Dame against a school that allocates resources to the sport you purport to love. You just can’t

Sometimes things fall in to place perfectly. Dodger game moved to Thursday night gave us the opportunity to watch this stud play and takedown Gilbert. Borrowed a sweatshirt so I fit in with the rest of the family. Jordan is a pretty special player to watch.

Final Farewell I am reminded that sometimes our actions or commitment to certain programs do make a difference. There are still great people in this world that appreciate what you do for their children. Over the course of the last 24 years I was able to do what I absolutely loved, coaching wrestling. I was able to develop relationships with student-athletes, coaches, referees, and many fans of the sport. I was able to coach my son his senior year of high school. I was able to raise 3 of my kids around the sport of wrestling whether they liked it or not! 😀 Bondurant Farrar wrestling you are a class act. Thank you for the support and experiences that will last a lifetime time. I appreciate each and every one of you. I walk away from coaching wrestling with my head held high, blessed, thankful and grateful for the opportunity to coach such a great sport. I tried my best to develop student-athletes in all areas of their lives. Getting student-athletes to believe in themselves is hard work at times, however if you establish common trust with your student-athletes they start to believe. I would like to thank everyone that helped me with my wrestling coaching career. To all the parents that supported me, thank you! To all the wrestlers that I had the great honor to coach, I love you all, especially the ones that were a pain in my @$!😂. To Garland Shirley, Ron Gray, Jay Groth and Matt Wonderlin, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your programs. I am forever grateful. Coach Dotty out!

Champions are celebrated for their victories, but legends are revered for the indelible mark they leave on the sands of time. In a world of many champions, it's the few who transcend greatness, inspiring generations with their enduring legacy. #WinnersWin

@RobSandIA You have summed it up perfectly. If we were truly supporting kids and families in need-I’d be all in.

@Hassel_Chris Is this tweet helpful? What is the goal in sharing? It’s just a game at the end of the day. He is a kid out there doing his best. Many seem to wrap their self with up in a sport and criticize young people.
