@Pharmdca According to my insurance agent, UNH is cutting so many benefits that meficare Advantage plans that people are dropping them at an an alarming rate and go with BCBS. Five members of my family dropped them at the March 31 deadline.

$UNH should be a nice beneficiary post Medicare advantage rate boost. Earnings on April 21st.

@Pharmdca I love your takes, but I think this one is off. UNH is heavily retreating from MA markets. They are in severe cost control mode with strong headwinds. Q1 earnings should be awful, and perhaps an entry then makes sense (maybe, they have a lot to overcome)

$UNH stock is cheap post Medicare rate decision. The finalized 2.48% Medicare Advantage rate boost for 2027 injects $13B+ into the system, reversing prior negative sentiment and supporting profitability.

Executives get rich on dilution while shareholders get diluted. There’s no benchmarks with this vesting… it’s simple tenure. Announced on a holiday. @AlbertAlan Re: the 2028 statement… MA depletion is projected 2033, is ~50% of all Medicare (35 million people), and is so politically entrenched that it will not go away/will always be funded. With that said, reg changes WILL hurt some players that can’t adjust properly

$HUM $CLOV Historically when Humana's price to sales ratio was this low and everyone had given up, investors who bought were up 126% in five years, but when everyone was greedy and bought at the top they made just 4.3%, the catch this time is Medicare Advantage isn't guaranteed past 2028 and not every player in healthcare is going to survive what's coming.

People are going nuts about a CFO transition. First off, he's very replaceable. Secondly, I've never been impressed with his presentations. The latest Leerink presentation was as boring as you could get. The moderator TRIED to get him to expound upon things with no success. It was so low-energy. If you're going to have your CFO do presentations to investors, please have someone with energy. Not fluff... passion. There's so many exciting things to talk about with Clover Health... these conferences have seen the same slide deck for 4 years. Tell an exciting story, because you have one. @andrewtoy $CLOV
