This will surely go down at one of the all-time iconic images of human space exploration. I was listening to the live feed last night and the astronaunts not really having the words to describe the view - and i can well understand why after seeing this incredible image. Four other planets are also in shot. Neptune is mid-way between Saturn and Mars but too faint to be seen. On the Earthshine illuminated portion of the moon several prominent craters are seen. Just below centre is Humboldt, while just above about half visible is the edge of Mare Smythii. Both these areas can just about be seen from Earth during favourable lunar librations of that area.

@GissiSim The EU decided it would rather deindustrialise& destroy their economies rather than be friends with the Russians.The US is in decline & realises it is overextended and cannot maintain a global empire. At least the Chinese and BRIC's nations are more interested in trade than war.

I hope Americans understand that Trump pulling out of NATO is the start of the Chinese world order. Europe will run to China real quick and start having heavy trade/diplo relations. There is no doubt in my mind. What does US have then? Cuba and Venezuela? Oh... and Israel.

The most famous katsudon in Japan?! Say less... Got it—that viral style is "yaki katsudon" (焼きカツ丼), pioneered/popularized by Tonkatsu Marushichi (とんかつ丸七). The massive thick pork cutlet (often 3-4cm, up to 600g!) is fried crisp & juicy separately, then placed on top of soft, fluffy scrambled/folded eggs—no simmering the katsu in egg to keep it ultra-crispy. Sweet soy tare drizzled on top. It kicked off the thick-cut Insta craze with lids that won't close! Zuicho (Shibuya) does a similar "on top" version too, but Marushichi owns the "thickest in Japan" crown.

@SnackReel It’s exactly the technique I use, but there is one thing missing here : Pecorino Romano. This cheese must represent at least half of the cheese, together with Parmiggiano, else you won’t get the real Roman taste.
