Reckless driving and disregard for traffic rules by some transporters have continued to cause preventable tragedies, and stronger penalties must be put in place to deter such dangerous behaviour. This incident further highlights the need for a comprehensive review of our urban transportation policies. Investing in safer, more regulated public transportation systems is essential to reducing overcrowding, improving vehicle standards, and ensuring safer commutes for all Zimbabweans.
