There’s a TikTok trend of college women driving to their home states to vote after their mail-in ballots didn’t show up on time. I’ve never seen anything like it in the US. Eff DeJoy though.

@snichollstmd @splendourella @moniza_hossain Americans are paranoid about guns because our fellow Americans keep using them to SHOOT UP ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. Places that can have widespread gun ownership without having mass shootings on a regular basis can keep their guns, as far as I’m concerned.

Another huge culture shock: uk people and their pets. Outdoor cats freely allowed to roam around on busy streets, dogs off leash right next to busy main roads. Aren’t people afraid their pets will die?
