If you're using my Filters or FilterBlade I need to hear your input. Lets talk about AI boundaries. So far I have avoided AI-usage in the project. I have a lot of PoE-specific-knowledge, programming and computer-linguistics skills and replacing them with AI is: - Major downgrade. - Breaking the trust of the community - No fun, I like filter-tinkering. Further: I do NOT intend to work on the actual filter and algorithmic core of my Filter project with AI. However, I would like to get to hear the community input on using AI in a LIMITED scope in order to: - Fix performance issues/vulnerabilities - Writing 'technical' code like Unit Tests (only used to increase the quality) - Reviewing existing code to look for quality improvements I've been using AI in my fulltime job and other projects and I think it would provide a benefit. I'd like to hear the community input. Do you actually care? Would you be OK with the plan above?

@WNBAStormChaser If they're going to be able to negotiate a contract that keeps her happily in Seattle, then what did the Core do? Mostly I think Ezi accepting the 1-year super-max is a catastrophe that destroys our cap situation for a year. It gives us more options but theyre not worth that risk

@SeattleStormFan Right, but as you mentioned, they can core and negotiate something besides the supermax. This works both in regards to a trade, but also in a deal to keep her in Seattle for more than one more year. The Core tag gives the Storm the best options to retain her or trade her.

Do we think the Storm place the Core (franchise) tag on Gabby, Ezi, Sykes, or no one over the next couple of days? I think it could be Ezi, but we will see… #WNBA

@WNBAStormChaser But it's only a trade asset if she declines the super-max and negotiates down to something they are allowed to trade. The new CBA (wisely, in my opinion) says you can't sign-and-trade for above the regular max anymore.

@WNBAStormChaser If you want to keep her long-term I just don't see how Coring her for 1 year helps with that. I strongly suspect they already know what she wants, but even if they didn't the Core tag doesn't do much beyond keeping her for 1 year against her will (plus giving them a trade asset).

@WNBAStormChaser I don’t think you have time in this crazy-compressed timeline to mess around with tagging Ezi unless your trade partner is already lined up. Too much other business to attend to. And if you want her long term then Coring her is bad. She either wants in or we should move on.

@WNBAStormChaser 0% chance of Sykes, imo. (She's good but not what the Storm need / can afford.) Maybe 1% chance of Gabby as they have always managed that relationship as "if you love someone set them free." Ezi is the one that's plausible, but only if they have a sign and trade lined up.

Aside from the actual date of the draft, this should’ve been the first thing sorted out bc of how unprecedented it is. Forget analysts like me or fans not knowing; how, according to the most recent reporting, do TEAMS not know how this will work yet?

We are roughly two weeks away from the expansion draft and we still don’t have a firm understanding of how the protections are going to work with over 70% of the league entering free agency.

@NekiasNBA My guess is they had to have the Core still apply this year because forcing teams to protect their superstars is the only way the expansion draft can involve enough players to function! (It's gonna be protect 5, lose 1, protect 2 more with Por/Tor allowed to take UFA's to Core.)
