now until we get some more updates and things get more stable. Anyone tried placing plots from the gallery/their own library and run into issues? #Paralives

I built this in a separate save and then placed it here from my library. It wasn't a smooth process, and I am somewhat worried the ground floor is kinda broken (when my paras are there, and I right click to focus on them, it takes me to the basement). Gonna avoid this process for

Added details, changed some colors and styles of things, and moved my Paras in. Definitely a lot happier with it now that I've added details that I imagined it having when I was first building it. 🌿🪴✨ #Paralives #ShowUsYourBuilds

@femboytboy Yea, the build tools are really powerful already, and people have been creating awesome stuff! This lot feels particularly interesting cos it's so different to what we're used to.

@SilthulhuSims my first build was on this lot and it's been so interesting to see what other people have done with it, there's so much variety all fit into the same tiny space, i love the creativity the game promotes

My first #Paralives build. I don't love it, still getting used to the tools, and the camera makes me want to cry, as does the wall placement in some cases, but there's a lot of really cool things too. The ability to have windows in basements is amazing for example!

@TheSimsDirect Eww is this that stupid ai search function y’all talked about a while back? Just put the gallery back the way it was a couple years ago, with visible follower numbers and all that, and buzz off with this useless crap that no one asked for. Absolute trash.

Also, this is the para I quickly made to start building in this save, and I kinda love them now, so they will be added to my main save when I go back to playing in that xD

Has anyone figured out how to stop the camera from jumping up and down as you move around in #Paralives? Trying to build in that tiny lot between buildings and the camera is so frustrating. I usually turn this off in TS4 in the config files, not sure how in Paralives yet.

I think I figured out what made the babies in #paralives look uncanny to me. The proportions are not very infant-like, and a few of the features are too intense. Here's a quick edit, made the head bigger, wider and more square, blended some features and shrunk the neck a bit.

@jackofallgames7 I'm excited to try out the build mode and the para-maker. I expect the gameplay to very shallow and barely existent for now. My only worry is that they aim to lean heavily into this pre-set story thing with the bundles and such, I hope they build out systems for more sandbox too.

It’s a good question and fair to note; Paralives is taking the approach of building systems and core functionality first, to make sure they work + get player feedback before building the majority of gameplay that will fit into those systems. The “game” is coming later.

I actually really like the new base layers feature. It's by no means perfect, and I hope we get even more options, but it really does make a difference to some outfits, allowing for even more combinations. Also, looking forward to seeing what CC creators make use of this for!

@AceBildz @cherrywhims Devonport in Auckland (NZ) is really pretty though, there's tons of gorgeous historical houses there.

finished the last world in my save which i renamed to davenport (aka gibbi point) i didn’t realize how many lots this world had 😭😭 I LOVE IT THOUGH

@VoldieTrix Absolutely savor that time! I usually use a few mods/autonomy tweaks to help a bit, but even on long lifespan I often end up giving them even more days with UI cheats if I'm not ready to see them grow up 😂

@jackofallgames7 There's genAI used in it, so any and all interest I may have had has immediately evaporated.

Anyone playing Crimson Desert? How you finding it? I see a lot of people comparing it to Avowed for its pros and cons - as someone who really likes Avowed for the most part, would you recommend it?

I really, sincerely hope this flops so hard, and every creator who’s joined sees a massive downturn in their income so they leave it again (and I say that as someone who has financially supported some of these creators). This is bullshit, and we need to not fall for it.

Got an error popup when trying to visit Restaurant - Google it - Reports dating back *7 YEARS* - supposedly fixed a year or so ago... fml. Found a work-around to fix it, but damn, I want to love this game so much, and it just keeps making it so difficult 🤦 #TheSims4
