What you're describing isn't a bug. It's a feature. Organizations optimize for stability. Talent introduces instability. So the system builds friction. Approval layers. Process. Politics. All of it designed to slow down the people who move too fast, ask too many questions, refuse to accept the way things are done. The tragedy is that most talented people internalize this. They start to believe they're the problem. They stop pushing. They learn to play small. And the system absorbs them. The ones who don't get absorbed eventually leave. They start their own thing. They build their own system. And the original organization wonders why all their best people go start companies that compete with them. The pattern is so predictable it's almost boring. Protect your talented people from the system or the system will protect itself from them. Most organizations choose the system. And then they wonder why they're full of people who are competent but not remarkable.

Canada already has Universal Basic Income. It’s called being a Government employee. Unfortunately most of them create negative value and we would in fact be better off paying them to not work. E.g. CRA, Immigration, Indigenous Affairs and most managers of all departments.

@atmoio I have another theory. High status & wealth surround themselves by yes men. High status men rarely if ever get resistance for saying/believing something stupid. Everyone around them just plays along. This makes it harder for them to be grounded in reality.

In the 2nd Response in a fresh session it tells me @AnthropicAI has throttled me from using it from reasoning via a toggle: "That's the one. @schteppe "More" is the trajectory with all languages. I want modern languages also be easy to parse and analyze. So that third parties can easily create tooling. I don't want clangd or everything needing a language server. Easier to parse => easier for human to comprehend.

Interesting findings from this study. 🤔😄 Attractive female students no longer earned higher grades when classes moved online during COVID-19. "When education is in-person, attractive students receive higher grades in non-quantitative subjects, in which teachers tend to interact more with students compared to quantitative courses. This finding holds both for males and females." A Swedish university study found that attractive female students got higher grades in subjective, non-quantitative courses during in-person teaching, but that edge vanished when classes moved online, while the male beauty premium stayed. 307 students across 5 cohorts were rated for attractiveness by 74 independent judges, and the pandemic created a natural split where the same kinds of courses were taught first face-to-face and then remotely. That matters because quantitative courses are graded mostly by exams, while non-quantitative courses leave more room for teacher judgment, so when female students lost the premium only after visibility dropped, the most likely explanation was not skill but the halo effect, where appearance quietly gets mistaken for ability. i.e. when evaluation becomes more anonymous and less face-driven, grades look more like performance and less like perception. You just isolate individual variables and look at the direction they're going and how fast and then you look at them all at once Birth rate in white countries declining Immigration accelerating Third world birth rate exploding Taxes increasing Free money for the third world from your tax money increasing Fraud paid for by tax money increasing Violent crime increasing Punishments for violent crime decreasing but only if you're non-white Women becoming more liberal and delusional about the intentions of third world immigrants Women getting more seats of power Media becoming more deceptive Liberals becoming more narcissistic and cluster B Guns being banned even in conservative States but again only for white people Job opportunities open to white men less and less Testosterone declining Anti-white hatred increasing Entire large states and areas of countries becoming unlivable like California and London Nobody alive can deny any of that. Everyone has a smartphone. Everybody knows all of this and they are acting like they're going to go get a rental property to fund their kids' college tuition. There is no waking anyone up, and there is no accomplishing anything without people being awake.
