Ot othe people looking after the kids, they run outstanding clubs, like tennis or badminton, gym clubs, gymnastics, all sorts, no different to sending your kids to football practice. And being a kids coach myself, there is nothing more irritating

@SingleDadTravel @Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost We have a fantastic relationship but life will always be harder when you have to mix work, childcare, everything else and finding time to spend together. Luckily a nice David Lloyd spa membership gives us time to relax while the kids do clubs 😁

@RemoteHusband @john_ford77 @THemingford But then loss of visitors would mean having to charge more or closing 🙄 if i take my 3 kids out to that attraction they will all want feeding, all want souvenirs so not exactly a cheap day out just a bit cheaper so i can actually take them 👌

@SingleDadTravel @john_ford77 @THemingford Ok let’s play devils advocate - attractions need to bring in £X income per day which equates to £Y cost per person. What sees to be happening is those on UC pay less than £Y and those not on UC pay more than £Y to make it up. So yes, only having to pay £Y would make a difference.

I can't imagine having the sort of attitude where, because of inadequate pay due to pay not keeping up for decades, that I would resent or begrudge a disabled person or child enjoying a day out. That really is awful selfishness.

@SingleDadTravel @Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost Not all that much, if anything, it’s more difficult, more things to do and you have to fit in extra time with just two of you. Being a single dad was actually far easier.

@SingleDadTravel @Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost Planning. We have 5 between me and my girlfriend, primary school age the youngest, off to uni the oldest, 4 different locations for school/college. She’s a full time midwife, I have a gym, i’m a ref, I do PT’s, train myself and work a 50 hour a week day job, yet we find time

@SingleDadTravel @Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost My daughter trained with me, she came and learned Muay Thai, MMA, BJJ, we weight lifted, when I was in Uni, I took her in when I did testing and taught her how the kit worked. I had my daughter from 2 weeks old.

@SingleDadTravel @Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost Bollocks, I was a single dad, I worked, ran a fight team, had a seperate business and found a way to compete, lift weights and spend time with my daughter. It’s fucking hard but it’s worth it. I was a single dad at 18 years old, she’s 19 this year 😅. It is easy with routine plan

@simonsquibb It's not a dream, but almost end of the easter holidays and I'm skint, single dad with sole custody of 3 kids.. Could have a nice weekend out with them 👌

@Sargon_of_Akkad @washingtonpost Don't like steaks, and too busy being a single dad to go to the gym, but i walk miles a day doing school runs and shopping and always cleaning and cooking that's my exercise.
