🚨Louisiana Republicans are waking up, RINO Bill Cassidy is in serious trouble and risks missing the runoff entirely in the May 16 closed GOP Senate primary as Trump-endorsed Rep. Julia Letlow and John Fleming surge ahead in multiple polls.
Cassidy never realized he wasn’t that important. He voted to convict President Trump in the 2021 impeachment trial, saying Trump was guilty, spent years doubting Trump’s electability, urged him to drop out, and even flirted with No Labels. Now he’s furious at the NRSC and John Thune because they aren’t riding to his rescue, even after a tense call where an NRSC exec reminded him that his impeachment vote is exactly why he’s struggling.
President Trump is the one who leads the Republican Party. Full stop.
The base is done with establishment holdovers who put themselves above the MAGA Revolution. We can’t get rid of this RINO fast enough.
Louisiana needs real America First representation, not another senator who learned the hard way that loyalty matters.
