Tired of paying $50/mo. for a trading indicator that took someone 20 minutes to build Welp... I built a better one in an afternoon and made it free FLOOP Pro: ✅ ML-optimized (Random Forest + XGBoost + LightGBM) ✅ 83%+ win rate on NQ futures ✅ Profit Factor 3.89-5.66 ✅ Auto TP/SL + forward test engine built in ✅ Completely free and open source tradingview.com/script/Ax8kwFh…

@investingidiocy is that because he’s deciding on that filter after fitting the model? i assume had he included it in the model prior to fit then it would be fine?

Congratulations, you are the first person I have found doing implicit insample fitting on X today.

The data just forced me to make a change to the public experiment. And it’s a BIG ONE. Fridays are officially REMOVED from the forward test. Here’s why. While reviewing the full backtest dataset, one statistic stood out immediately. The system behaves very differently on Fridays. Win rate by day: • Monday → 88.4% • Tuesday → 84.2% • Wednesday → 80.5% • Thursday → 84.3% • Friday → 52.0% Every other day of the week sits around 80–88%. Friday drops to 52%. That’s not a small difference. That’s a completely different market behavior. — Why does this matter? Because this experiment is not about forcing trades. It’s about executing a statistical edge. If the data clearly shows that one day behaves differently, the rational decision is simple: Remove the noise. So from now on the public forward test will run: • Monday – Thursday only • 2:00 AM New York time • 1 MNQ micro contract • TP $300 / SL $300 • BE lock at +$250 → +$200 One trade per day. No discretion. — So the public experiment continues. But now with a cleaner structure. Monday → Thursday only. Day 1 of forward testing already closed +$300. Day 2 of forward testing already closed +$300. Let’s see how the next trades unfold. — One question for other traders: Have you ever found that one specific day of the week completely breaks an otherwise profitable system? #AlgoTrading #FuturesTrading

The more I’m in the trading space the less i genuinely believe anyone actually makes serious money trading (if they are influencers with their whole brand as being profitable) nobody can name a single trader who shows how much money they have spent on props vs paid out the hand full of legit Guys out there that do I applaud you

@chang_defi @NousResearch genuinely dont understand why not just pay the $10 a month for Minimax? you get a model thats probably 10x more capable for the cost of 2 coffees

cancel your chatgpt subscription and delete your openclaw slop. i'm serious. go on ebay and buy a used RTX 3060 for the price of two months of pro. or check your drawer because half of you already own one and forgot about it. install hermes agent from @NousResearch. one framework, 31 tools, file operations, terminal, browser, code execution. connect it to your local llama.cpp server running qwen 3.5 9B Q4. total download is 5.3 gigs. that's it. that's the whole setup. every experiment you hesitated to run on API. every project you shelved because you didn't want your data on someone else's server. every late night idea you didn't test because you hit your rate limit. all of that is gone. runs 24/7 on your electricity. your machine. your data never leaves your house. connect it to telegram if you want it on your phone. hook up whatever tools you need. the model thinks at 29 tok/s with 128K context and it never bills you. qwen 3.5 9B and one RTX 3060 is the setup most people will never try because they've been trained to believe intelligence has to come from a datacenter. it doesn't. it runs on 12 gigs of VRAM under your desk right now. stop giving your thinking away for free.

great to see @CTI_Funding doing the right thing and acknowledging their mistakes! they’ve treated me awesome so far so was surprised to see otherwise
MarketEmotionsFX 📉@Market_Emotions

Thank you to @MartinN_CEO & his support team at @CTI_Funding for sorting my issue out. They have confirmed I was a false positive in their fraud detection systems. To address this, not only did they fix my issue, but they have also reviewed their business bottlenecks. They have now added in adjustments to their business pipeline for future traders to be able to escalate and raise concerns should you be caught in a web like I was 🙏 this is a great win for everyone trading at @CTI_Funding. But also thank you to the community for backing me up when I needed it. I have always advocated for sustainability and transparency in this space, and I never knew if my words actually reached you. But today, with your overwhelming support, I really felt it. So thank you to all the legends here for helping me make this industry and community a better place 🔥 Since I have been rightfully acquitted of all charges, I will continue to trade at @CTI_Funding. This is our proof as traders that we do have a voice and that what we do in this space matters 🙏 Alright, let's head back to the charts, Legends 🔥

Cursor internal analysis shows how hard Anthropic is subsidizing Claude Code. Last year, a $200 monthly subscription could use $2,000 in compute. Now, the same $200 monthly plan can consume $5,000 in compute (2.5x increase).

@RoundtableSpace People probably fail to realise, its not the functionality of the app, but the data behind it. I presume Cal AI probably has a shit-tonne of photos with calorie estimates saved somewhere in a db that myfitnesspal could leverage off of ( even if, the macros are not correct lol )

Ever wondered which model works best with React Native by default? Now you don't have to. We just shipped AI evals for React Native apps. We start with 43 right now, and have many more coming in the pipeline
Callstack Engineers@callstackio

Which AI coding model actually writes good React Native code? We couldn't prove it either, so we built a benchmark. React Native Evals: 43 real-world tasks across animations, async state, and navigation. Read more on our blog ⬇️

Drop what you are doing It happened. ChatGPT 5.4 is out. It blows Opus 4.6 out of the water on basically every benchmark This is what you need to do immediately if you want to escape the permanent underclass: • Upgrade your OpenClaw to ChatGPT 5.4 NOW (it's BUILT for OpenClaw) • Hand the ChatGPT 5.4 blog post over to your OpenClaw. Ask "How can we improve our workflows based on these upgrades?" • Download the Codex desktop app and type in /fast. This will give you the most powerful coding model in the world at the fastest speeds • Take advantage of the 1 million token context window by pasting in full documents as context • Everything you do on your computer for the next 24 hours, describe it to ChatGPT 5.4 and ask how it can do the task better When new tech drops, you have to take advantage of it. That's the only way to win Put your phone on Do Not Disturb and get to it
OpenAI@OpenAI

GPT-5.4 Thinking and GPT-5.4 Pro are rolling out now in ChatGPT. GPT-5.4 is also now available in the API and Codex. GPT-5.4 brings our advances in reasoning, coding, and agentic workflows into one frontier model.

@atf_cj even worse is when the slippage occurs during random times on a major pair ( not gold ). oh sorry your 0.8% SL hit 1.1 during regular trading hours with no news? sorry just regular volatility 🤷‍♂️

I've just learned something that blows my mind 💀 Some companies are breaching customer accounts when slippage is taking them over a risk limit that has been put in place. Surely thats not the traders fault 🤷‍♂️

@M19HAU Have you tested the other entry signals in that book @M19HAU ? Its pretty insane with even 2 seperate filters, you'd be looking at 2 x ~40 x (number of pairs ) potential things to test

ALGO IDEA💥 I had A LOT of good strategies out of this very simple code, based just on candle closes Add a momentum filter & exit and you're flying Entry is from from Kevin Davey's book, I had plenty of amazing algos based on his ideas, he produces really good material Test it with various exits and filters and see for yourself

@trq212 If you've used openclaw previously - i'd say the ability for claude to ask questions, quiz and clarify any requirements, preferences etc. ( whilst still being succinct ) - similar to how bootup works in openclaw

@TraderMotif I seriously do not believe that anyone should be backtesting manually for an extended period of time - there are successful discretionary traders for certain but the scale that can be achieved through systematic trading is just too great

It now takes me less than 1 minute to see stats going back years for any timeframe, any asset, any system. I can then tweak parameters to make the edge better. The days of sitting at the desk backtesting one system for weeks is gone. Truly incredible.

To be completely honest - I thought OpenClaw was a useless, hyped up piece of ass. Not saying its useful now, but the best thing about it is being able to get it to test out ideas whilst im on the go etc. To be honest, I'm still not trusting of how its running the backtest, and do prefer to code it in MQL5 and tested there as the gold standard. But for now, this aint too bad ( amongst others ) Shout out to @NQStats for giving the idea behind this ( though, apparently my openclaw its saying its profitable on other pairs lol )
