@UMFanJosh He deserves credit today. Gutted through 6 innings and kept the team in the game and allowed them to come back. He’s pretty much been as advertised so far.

@Castellani2014 Yeah, it’s hard to be mad at Tork there. Riley, on the other hand……

Tork put a pretty good swing on it. Knew he was gonna be fed off speed pitches and ultimately got what he wanted. That’s some bad luck. Riley’s AB in that situation was just shocking. You cannot have at bats like that and be taken seriously as an elite play.

@Castellani2014 Yup. A month in, and Framber has largely been as advertised so far.

I have to give Framber a lot of credit. Being able to put together a quality start after three ugly frames to start this game was pretty impressive. Him and Tarik did their job against this good lineup.

@LK33JD I truly understand the frustration about this road trip, but some really do need to take a deep breath and chill a little bit. The last two years should have taught us that baseball is a very long season with some STEEP highs and lows.

Okay, burn it all down and start the rebuild around Kevin. We'll have both Maxes, Josue, H-YL, Thay, Trei, Eduardo, etc. and Bryce and the young arms soon after. I'm just kidding, but that's how a lot of people are acting right now. So it's whatever I guess.

@UMSportsFanatic You actually can thank Harris for us having McGonigle. If he drafts Langford like people wanted, we likely don’t.

@jFudgy_ I appreciate your optimism! With that said, I understand why fans are scarred. We have had a lot of seemingly solid late inning/closers come here only for them to implode in Detroit.

Kenley Jansen has 2 bad outings and some fans are freaking out over him wanting him DFA’d. Losing isn’t fun, but these fan overreactions are silly. Kenley will be fine, same as last year, and we’ll see how the Tigers do come playoff time this year 🔥

@CousinxJ @jFudgy_ Dude, I get being frustrated, but you can’t panic/overreact after every game. The starting pitching is solid, and the offense has been better than expected. I’ll admit the bullpen is an issue, but to say they need a lot more just to compete for this division isn’t accurate.

@jFudgy_ They should be 5+ over with who they have played and thats probably still too low. This roster isn’t good. The pitching is AWFUL. You can spin it however you’d like, but they need a lot more to even compete for the measly AL Central. Glad you’re happy with mediocre👍

@deeptocenter To be entirely fair, Helsley was coming off a disastrous tenure with the Mets, so that signing wouldn’t have been that well received by the fan base. With that said, I completely forgot about that part of the offseason, and yes, looking back, it absolutely infuriates me.

What’s really frustrating about this too is they could have had a high velocity closer in Ryan Helsley but they wanted to make him a starter so he chose to go to Baltimore instead because he wanted to remain a closer. He throws 103 and currently has a 2.53 ERA.

Skubal decided he's worth more than any arbitration player in history and has been mid ever since 🤦‍♂️

This is gonna be a real boomer take but playoff games in any sport on Amazon Prime or Peacock just doesn’t hit the same.
