🚨 TOYOTA JUST MADE A CAR KEY SO CONFUSING… DEALERSHIPS HAVE TO TRAIN PEOPLE HOW TO UNLOCK THEIR DOOR A full-grown adult has to explain how to unlock a car door using the new Toyota card key. The key card literally has instructions printed on it. Angle the card. Find the “right spot.” Try again. Like you’re diffusing a bomb. Even he can’t get it on the first try: “Not working… not working right.” Now people will be standing outside their own car… waving a card around hoping it works. How did Toyota just make a car key WORSE?

One of the biggest problems with X: Your followers don’t see your content. That breaks the relationship between creators and audience. It makes it harder to build trust, friendships, and communities. This used to be a networking site. Now it’s driven by slop and algo chasing.

Last night I drove our minivan for the first time after putting 12,000 miles on our Tesla Model Y. When I got to my destination I took my seatbelt off and went to open the door just like I always do in the Tesla. The van, still in Drive, and still running, slowly idled forward until I regained my senses and properly stopped, put it in Park, and turned the engine off. My Tesla has rewritten my driving muscle memory. @Tesla needs more models.

@TalosDreams @HustleBitch_ Issue is, when I drive my wife’s car (non Tesla) I do the same, then later realise and have to return to the car to lock it. Tesla is just so good.

In talking with Rivian about the rear screen or lack thereof with R2, the thought process was that most people have/use a personal device in the rear seat today. If the mobile app experience is excellent, the rear screen is redundant/unneccessary. This was not a discussion on Robotaxi, but more of why no rear screen. I think with Robotaxi it most definitely applies.
