@VRVitaly @altcap Agreed, this is a good start for sure. It’s probably better to have kids earn contributions through sports, mental health programs, community service, getting good grades, etc. That’s what NJAA.us is providing.

Just got this done for my kids. Thanks @altcap Basically though for kids not born in 2025 or later we dont get the 1k - But this is just a way for them to have a "retirement account" at a young age without earned income. We can deposit up to 5k a year tax deferred for them (like any IRA). Then at 18 it'll convert to a TRADITIONAL IRA, but there are some ways to convert it to ROTH IRA (from my discussion with @GeminiApp that might work out. Anyway better than nothing. Let's get them started. I would say we should've just gave all kids under 18 $1k... to start... everyone should have participated off the bat for the next generation and got interested in assets and the stock market. Seems we are leaving some behind... my 2 cents here.
