My Sr year at UF it was a 3-way tie for 2nd at NCAA's after Texas AM won the meet in the last race. No one wanted to hold the runner-up trophy. It was so weird having the 3 teams pass the trophy around for pictures nobody wanted. Look how happy we were😭

Now, Oberman & Portnoy, who berated Reese in college, have an ally in Griffin. Add him to the list of black men who’ve adopted the corny trend of denigrating black women to affirm their choices. @Tier1athlete I've never heard of an athlete, participating in volleyball or football, doing a club sport during those seasons. It happens in track bc those athletes use track to improve their primary sport. I don't mind that, but treat your secondary sport with the same energy as your primary

@TimDMo Does this happen during other sports? This is great example of why there must be a decision to do only HS or club. Can’t do both.

All #highschools should stand firmly on #athletes doing any organized #clubsports from August to May. If doing club practices or competitions during your high school season, they should be kicked off the HS team. Choose HS or Club. No longer should both be allowed.
