Iran holds roughly 440 kg of uranium enriched to 60%, a short technical step from weapons-grade. International monitors put that at enough for around 10 weapons if enriched further. 2) Nuclear analysts. With an operational facility, that 60% stock could reach weapons-grade in weeks, possibly days. The bottleneck was never the centrifuge halls. It was always the material, and the material is still in Iranian hands. 3) The negotiators themselves. The framework defers the hard questions, like stockpile, enrichment, verification, to talks that start later. Vance called the war's result a setback, not elimination. Trump wants the uranium handed over; Iran's source already denied agreeing to that. 4) Anyone who remembers 2015. The last comprehensive deal took two years. This one gives 60 days, no inspection clause, no enrichment freeze, no IAEA access provision for the window. Iran's counter-proposal still demands a sovereign right to enrich. The fear is simple. A deferral isn't empty space for Iran. It's working room. 60 days with no monitoring and no permission to strike is the cleanest breakout window Tehran has had. The war motivated Iran to get nuclear capabilities to deter another attack. The 60 days give it the opportunity.
