Try this one on for size… The median home price when Boomers were first time buyers in the late 70s was $62,000. Adjusted for inflation, that’s about $280K. The current median? $420,000+. The American Dream is the same, the door is just extensively and unbearably inflated.

On Saturday, Arpichaya Yubol was assessed a one-stroke penalty for slow play. On Sunday, she finished one shot back of ShopRite champion Celine Boutier. The LPGA Media account tweeted Saturday evening that Yubol was assessed a one-stroke penalty for slow play during her second round for “exceeding her maximum time allowed for her total strokes timed on hole #13.” It’s just the second time a pace of play penalty has been issued on the LPGA this season. Jin Hee Im was also penalized one stroke during the third round of the JM Eagle.

Just In: California High-Speed Rail Authority Board has a new chairman, Steve Kawa. Kawa has worked in politics for decades with Gavin Newsom. Board unanimously voted him in. The change is sudden and not clear what happened to the last chair, Tom Richards. He’s not here.
