@GrahamMuz In some places it seems so as I can see one point doesn't come all the way over and I can see at least two points that have broken. I'm off over the Easter weekend so I'm hoping I can rectify it with new points and a thicker top.

@TrainGuardDan Is the hole in the baseboard restricting the movement of the pin of the point that doesn't fire all the way? If the screws are coming through the baseboard, you can use a packing piece between the underside of the board and the motor?

I feel like an idiot. In trying to wire up my point motors, I've only succeeded in writing off two points and wrecking my baseboard to the point that I feel it needs replacing. I swear my interest in the hobby is waning to the point where I'm going to chuck it in. #TMRGUK

@GrahamMuz It's Peco points, one tie bar came off when I fitted the motors and another doesn't switch all the way over. Thinking I need to go to shop and get two new points and possibly rebuild baseboard as I can see the mounting screws have come through the top.

@sleepymage Thanks, despite not attending the Awdry gala last year, I bought the DVD so I can get an idea about where is best to photo the trains. A question if I may, can visitors visit the shed at Pendre, or is it off limits? Thanks again.

@archer_rs We have the options of polo shirts at work and we've been told we have to tuck them in. I personally think they look cheap and devalue us so I choose a full button shirt unless I'm doing practical training away from passengers.

@TfL Hi, I'm a guard with London Northwestern and I've just found a loose coping stone on Platform 5 at Harrow and Wealdstone. It is adjacent to a red lampost that has a VT 4/5 car stop marker and a High Speed Train warning sign.

After a few years of hiatus due to growing family and moving rooms around, I've finally had the space to build a small model. A heritage terminus with inspiration from nearby Bucks Rail Centre and Chinnor Railway, hopefully ready in the summer. #TMRGUK
