I have officially escaped Iron in Street Fighter 6. The training room helped a lot, ran through some of the combo trials (up to advanced) which really helped me familiarize myself with the inputs. A couple of hours of practice was enough for me to stop losing to the button-mashers in Iron😭 Side note: This game definitely has one of the better on-boarding systems I've seen, especially the combo trials. They really helped me be able to visualize how/what moves can link with eachother and what situations they're applicable for. Side side note: I also tried some of the combo trials on classic. It literally took me 20 minutes to complete a single Intermediate one. Motion input combos feel insanely good to pull off though, can't imagine how much moreso that would be in a real match lmao

I think the most pathetic form of fgc person is the person that sucks at current games and can't accept it. Spends their whole day criticizing and hating when you can simply not participate/waste your life. I dont complain about games I dont like, I just dont play/unsubscribe

@Super__Yan @Le_Brutus @knifewoman6 By when the account is created. That's usually how. It's not uncommon for someone to rank higher on their smurf/hidey accounts. It's like insurance for some people.

@Traphustla101 @Le_Brutus @knifewoman6 My point is that if a smurf by definition is an account intentionally kept lower rank, then how can you be higher MR on your smurf account? And how do you decide for the other person which is their main?

@Le_Brutus @knifewoman6 I have an alt too and it helped me get better for the exact reasons he described (and my alt has almost always been higher than my main account) but I created it for very different reasons than he did. I can't understand how alts are "smufs" if they can be higher MR than main.

People need to stop blaming characters for their problems with sf6. You don’t hate Kim/dhalsim/sagat/jp/mai/bison. You hate sf6. Acknowledge this truth in your heart and you can be set free from the delusion that the game is fixable and accept the reality that it will always suck

I know I ask this every so often, but when are we doing FGC cage fights/Muay Thai/boxing/grappling? Unironically could have symbiotic crossover between communities. Could do it like chess boxing 1 round in the ring, 1 match on the sticks.
