@Revenode @saltyAom Wait but the author specifically states they want to drive adoption so I think having the support for Zod makes perfect sense since it's a popular choice. I personally think tradeoffs can just be decided by the developer. I don't think Elysia needs to be that opinionated.

@Revenode @saltyAom So are you saying it's standard, faster, provides documentation at no extra cost? I personally think the speed is a bit negligible. I don't see why ZodTypes can't be converted to OpenAPI? I think the community uses zod so Elysia should be able to support both Typebox and Zod.

@saltyAom This was the last time I used Elysia was two years ago so a lot may have changed, but none of this ever happened w Hono so I haven't looked back.

@saltyAom The type system of Elysia breaks. The input validation doesn't use Zod/ArkType. The suggested plugins by Elysia had broken types. The scoping is very confusing/inconsistent. Not as simple as hono. Upgrading Elysia broke my existing setup.
